Does anyone here have a conscience about their punting, particularly married men, I do, but it doesn't stop me, the availability of all these fabulous women is just too much for my conscience to stop me. Seriously though, are there any punters with a conscience?

I like to think I do....but I can be selfish sometimes and the feelings of others can escape me somtimes.

I've always felt that a majority of punters don't give a damn and a majority of escorts are resentful towards punters.

no guilt from me with regards meeting the ladies. I rarely feel it about anything tbh. I do what i want really. (obv i would never go thru with a punt if i suspected trafficking or whatever).

I would like to believe i that have a conscience but seeing that i am not married possibly makes it a bit easier being with an escort.

Sorry Rover, I couldn't resist. Of course I have a conscience which is why I have tried to quit punting several times. The longest I lasted was 3 months:(, but I have cut down significantly, but that may be more to do with a lack of funds.

Bullshit. They aren't stoned to death in Iran, that's just the US propaganda. Prostitution in Iran is pretty much the same as it is in Ireland.

The execution part of it could just be an archaic part of it, an old old law that was never written out of things. Just like hanging might be a possible penalty in Ireland for I don't know... hitting the president or something... hanging is still a legal punishment in Ireland.

Homosexuality is completely legal in Iran as well so long as it's done in private. It's public showing of homosexuality that's outlawed and given that homosexuality is a really unnatural thing, I think that's fair.

As for a conscience? What????

That is a very black and white view,surely this country has moved on a bit,surely we still can't be feeling this inner guilt everytime we do something that religon dictates is wrong.

i am afraid has two meaning there.
it's so terrifying. Stoning also happens in Somalia, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan.

and yep every woman who has apparently committed adultery is stoned. the most shocking case i read about was in 2008, when a 13 year old girl was gang raped, reported it, but then because there were more of them than her, and they were 'witnesses', she was the guilty one and stoned in a football stadium filled with nearly a thousand people, with carts full of stones moving through the crowds so everyone could get a handful. she had to be forced in the hole, she was crying and begging. she was taken out at one point when they thought she was dead, a nurse checked, she was still barely alive, so she was put back in and the stoning continued. and this was in 2008.

a good film to watch which will get you all fired up and ready to write a million letters for Amnesty is 'The Stoning of Soraya M'. It's a true story as well, which really shows you how warped their justice system is, and how corrupt.

stoning has nothing to do with faith. It's laws that people invented. there are many, many religious muslim leaders against stoning, but the only people who support it and allow it to continue, are the power greedy government leaders. what a surprise that they keep stoning as a valid punishment, it's a power trippers wet dream.

they are allowed have many wives, so obviously that isn't committing adultery, as it is acceptable. Stoning is an ancient punishment that is WELL over due to be outlawed, and one which has NOTHING to do with the religion of the country it happens to occur in.

Remember we are talking about Iran, NOT one of the other more hardline countries. Iran is much more like a first world country than many of those other hard-line muslim countries.

Only in an extremely limited number of cases is it even considered in either of those situations. There isn't a grave problem with prostitution if it's not adultery, they get whiplashed sometimes and jail terms sometimes. Most of the time, they just overlook it like they do here. no no of course it has to do with the religion, I just didn't want to say it out loud. i guess what i was trying to do was to remove that barrier we have about other religions, especially the more mysterious types like Islam. so many people think that what happens is shocking, 'but thats just what their religion is like', and then do nothing about it. I was trying to separate it to open up a train of thought that would connect the reader to the problem and then maybe they'd sign a petition. bit garbled but i hope you get what i mean. It's so easy to say 'oh its their religion, nothing to do with us!'

I don't feel guilty because I'm not doing anything wrong. As for the married/in relationship punters... well, it depends on the circumstances I'm sure. Not married so can't comment.

Wrong, I've no resentments towards client; I understand men are wired to have sex with as many women as possible. I think a woman would be foolish to think she can come between a man and his sexuality.
