It was a great performance,pity we didnt play like that for the whole tournament but it just goes to show how good ireland are when they have the right mind set...confidence in their own ability which is there in spades and passion...if we take this into the world cup i think we could reach the semi final at least...pity rog didnt punch ashton in the face towards the end of the game when he was having a go at him for something...lol

Was it? I went to the pub @ lunchtime, came home turned the telly on and fell asleep and only saw the last 5 mins.

What a nice aftermath to Paddy's day.

Who cares if we should have played like this the whole of the tournament? Well actually I do care....but I'll take what I can get - and that was a cracker of a game!:)

The team went out and played with national pride and nothing to lose - and what a result!! Nice way to end an disappointing tournament. Maybe next year we'll play like this the whole tournament. In the meantime lets celebrate tonight!:D
