I normally just pay the bill.
Some do it but it's not done too often.
A lady I visited recently told me she only gets a gift every couple of months.
In France they are more obliged to give perfume, while in Ireland it is a rarity.
Some would say that a gift, even small is a nice gesture, and also an aid when handing over the envelope.
I did bring a gift once in my early days of punting. Wasnt too shabby either but it was thrown on the table like an empty fag packet so that kind of put me off doing it again.
I think now I would only do it for anyone I was seeing on an on-going regular basis.
If it is the first time seeing her, it is a nice ice breaker. If it is a reg. it is a nice thank you. It isn't obligatory. Usually something small, and sweet. A nice box of chocolates is always *appreciated.
*Exception: When the lady is on a diet, and or in the middle of detoxing, or is allergic. None of this you will know before hand, so the chances of this are small, but do keep in mind.
Some clients are very generous and they like to be extra nice. Certainly gifts are not expected but it is always a very nice surprise.
Nothing makes you obliged to repeat the gesture.
When visiting for the first time some bring flowers, chocolates or a bottle of wine, when a regular and knowing me better, usually they bring me perfumes or jewellery. Recently I was given a Belleek bracelet and I loooooved it!
Yes i would always bring my regular lady jewellery or perfume.
Its very nice to recive flowers, always put me a big smile on my face and make me feel confi..:). Think all the girls love it.
Something small to a new appointment . I have a regular who like my choise of cake . In the end it really doesn't cost much to be nice .: doc
I usually give bottles of wine to my regulars at Christmas .. It's just a token jesture to say thank you.. I once got a fucking machine..as a gift.. So nothing surprises me..
I never really did the 'gift' thing except for a couple of regular ladies.
I would feel awkward arriving with a bunch of flowers to a new lady, you tend to stick out a bit more when you're on the phone, getting directions, half blind :o.
Chocolates sound nice but, as someone else already said, if every client brought choccies, the poor ladies would be gaining pounds they don't necessarily want.
Perfume is fine, if you know the type that the lady likes, otherwise it could end up as a gift from them to someone else(like the chocs)
I have bought Cd's and Dvd's, having found out some the lady's tastes in music etc, and Aromatherapy oil and small pieces of Jewellery on occasion too.
Is always nice to get smth. Even smth very small. In France is this normal. Girls gets perfume or lingerie very often. Here i got also a few very nice things. But even flowers make some girl better day :)
We have been discussing gifts in the view of showing our appreciation when we arrive at our appointments and whether the lady likes them or not.
Perhaps we should also view this from a different perspective.
Personally I enjoy bringing a gift, as I believe it helps to set the mood, but more importantly I do it because I want to.
For me I obtain great pleasure in giving someone a gift without expecting anything in return, after all that is what a gift is all about.
I have only done this since December from regular to new meetings and is something I will continue if I can.
If I do bring a gift, I always endeavour to leave the appointment on time to ensure the lady did not think I had ulterior motives in the gift giving.
A gift does not have to be expensive, but something with a little thought.
My first thought was that he gave you a vibrator, but I see I am wrong :D ( I got one once and it proved to be very handy :D)
I know... the recession . . . things change . . . there was this gentleman that used to bring me Swarovski necklace and earring sets . . . not anymore :(
Certainly I don't expect jewellery but I can't lie saying that it doesn't impress :o
A friend of mine used my apartment to see someone the other week.. And when I was there a few days later the fridge was full of haagen dazs ice cream.. Which her client had brought... Yum yum. I'm sure a few of you know mr haagen dazs. Lol
Ah just today i got one in tesco. For the weekend is must! And they have brand new flavour! Yum! Mr,Haagen dazs.... love forever! lol

Just reading the girls replies, its nice to hear that you get treated well.More nice guys than assholes.
One of my regular clients is such a gentleman :)
I have been seeing him since i started working, he usually visits me once a month with either chocs, candles or flowers and always some wine or Champagne! And at Christmas or my birthday he buys me something really special. He is so lovely, these little gestures really put a smile on my face :)
Big kiss to all the gentlemen here xxxx
I've got my bottle of Glenfiddich at the ready, ready for recycling, but I"d want to get my finger out, you will be drawing your old age pension before I get across to you.

I wish my present was my rugged muscular he-man body.
So I usually bring choccies and scoff 'em.
Thanks Violette, by the way Morpheous and I are saving up for you gift, as we both know your penchant for bags!
Would a picture suffice in the meantime? :)
