A question I have always wondered about myself but never bothered to look for an answer.
On the one hand, if a client rings from a land line (which is not ex-directory) with the number displayed, one would imagine that it would be a more likely to be a genuine inquiry/booking than from an unregistered mobile number. Plus in the case of outcalls, it would provide more security for the escort. She just has to leave the land line number and the address of the outcall with a friend. There is however no guarantee that the caller is ringing from his home phone...........it call be a call box, office, hotel or pub phone and therefore would not eliminate calls from time wasters and fake outcalls.
On the other hand, if a client makes an incall booking from his land line and then leaves the house to go to the escort, she will be unable to contact him if she needs to, unless he has also given her his mobile number.
The views of escorts on this one would be interesting. -

As for mobiles the location of all mobile calls can be triangulated using gps,but it would be far more complicated than tracing a landline, whether the phone is registered or not, so word of warning lads, don't be ringing the girls from your sitting room in case some lunatic out there involves you in some situation you'd rather avoid..... -

Switching SIMs is not enough either as the phone operator also gets the ID of your phone and can spot when you switch SIMs.
On a side note, I observe that a man recently convicted in the UK was identified because he used his Tesco Club Card when he paid cash for his call credit top up.
