escorts advertising on phone boxes

I noticed on the Liverpool escorts thread in the sex tourism section one member said girls put cards on phone boxes to advertise outcalls. I assumed this was something that was done in the past. Now with the internet I thought this method wouldn't be used anymore.

there would be no point doing it in ireland as there pulling down all the phone box's

The telephone boxes in London are still plastered with them. It's quite amusing really, not for the council of course, but to see the tourists make so many calls from so many different boxes must warm BT's heart.

I haven't been in a phone box in years but I certainly remember it going on. They's have stickers made up too.......

Must take a look some time but would have thought the net pretty much killed that off but perhaps it's aimed at tourists or lads out on a stag night etc. who might not have access to the net after suddenly feeling the urge for a punt..........

lol so some still use cards in phone boxes that is hard to believe i would imagine those escort that operate that way would get a lot of time wasters

also saw them on a show I watch called real filth fighters its about uk councils and there work...
they remove them everyday and they are replaced everynight. they also said they gave up tracking the numbers as they lead no where and by the time they get them disconnected there is a new number in operation

there must be a market for them if they are being put up...

That's true there aren't as many phoneboxes in this country now anyhow. Anytime I'm in a pulic toilet I see phone numbers on the doors saying things like phone for some fun. I always think this is some teenager using someones number as a prank.
