Being challenged by the hotel manager
In one of his (many) autobiographies, Niki Lauda tells of an incident involving James Hunt in a South American hotel. This would have been back in the seventies and Hunt was attempting to sneak a very dark skinned young lady up the service stairs at the back of the hotel.
They were stopped by the manager who started to tell Hunt that it was not that sort of hotel.
While actually being in full control, Hunt gave a good impression of losing it completely and screaming at the hotel manager "This is my sister, how dare you slander her honour." He only stopped when the manager said how very sorry he was and let them proceed.
