i dropped my sony xperia x10m mini into a pot of soup.lol long story..i am a chef by the way..
so im looking for a decent phone with apps,music,camera,radio the usual stuff they come with nowadays..
lots of people are recommending the i phone or htc.

have the galaxy s, its good, camera is ok, very like the i phone, but if you use itunes thats the only draw back, but i download songs from other places, can frezze some times, but has good battery

I got 2,SE K750i and SE W910i. I once dropped the W910i into a manhole, got it out asap. Phone shut down itself and left it on the radiator for few hours. Switched it back on and it worked and is still working...Wouldn't be big fan of smart phones. K750i still the best for me cos its tiny and does what I want. Still going after 5 years,only changed its first battery recently. I'm old skool I suppose,lolol.

got 3 nokia phones : an X6 , an 5800 xpress music and an 6700slide.. and the private phone (1week old :D ) I Phone4 white :p

iPhone. The only way to go, loads of memory for your music & movies. I got mine the day it was released here and still wouldn't change it for something else.I'm waiting for the iPhone 5 to come out in oct. I'm like a child waiting for Xmass. Plus you have the Internet so you can log onto ei anytime of day or night. Handy out

Mart get the samsung galaxy s2 with 3 networks... all you can eat data!!! 40E a month!! Savage phone...Love it!!!

It's basically the iphone5...which isnt being realised until at least Sept!!!

If anyone is looking for a nice cheap little touch screen phone. Vodafone are doing an Android phone for €60 ready to go. Looks pretty good for that price, has wifi and all ! Looks similar to HTC Wildfire.

Im using a Samsung Wave myself although they have been superseded by the Galaxy. The Iphone 4 is all hype{ They advertise a forward facing camera as a feature, most phones have had this for years} The Samsung galaxy S2 is considered the top phone in the world.Sony experia arc is no2 .HTC Desire z,LG optimus. Iphone 4 is number five . Theres no doubt That Apple have succeeded in making the Iphone desirable with saturation marketing.Most people call a smartphone an Iphone.Just as we all call vacuum cleaners a Hoover. Anyway your final choice usually will depend on your provider and your plan.

Not only is it the best phone I’ve ever had but its also one of the best pieces of tech I’ve ever used, it truly is a brilliant piece of kit, I only have it three weeks but I love it, I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

They do if you don't turn off some of the battery eating features like wifi and 3g when you're not using them. I have a samsung galaxy at the moment which is probably better than the iphone in my opinion. Battery life is pretty good if you use it properly. You can download an app which tells you which features use the most battery anyway. I'd stay clear of the cheap Vodafone android phones as they are worthless in the long term.

Like most Apple products the iphone is very overpriced. You'd be paying for the brand.

Are all those smartphone batteries made of Lithium-Ion? Heard the Lithium-Polymer is far better.I dont have a smartphone,but in 5 years I changed only 1 battery,which uses Lithium-Polymer and its heavily used phone.
