That led me to think of all those that must have come before us newbie’s, where are they, is there allot of people that come, be very active for a while and one day just fade away, should I expect the same faith, what’s my chances 50/50?
Just initial thoughts and I'm sure any following posts will add some more to be reflected on!!
Anon, I’m a little freaked out, I was thinking much the same thing, What is the shelf life of the average poster, I have stated before to being a little embarrassed to have arrived at the number of posts I have in 2 and a bit months, especially so as I’m not even a feckin punter, and given the length of the average post, my tally is really in the order of a 1000 or so. But you do get drawn in, and I’m very conscious of that, I’ll probably fade to grey sometime soon, I won’t say goodbye again lads, I promise, I’ll go nova, not supernova. I’m really only hanging on until I find out how old Carlos and Bigpaws are. :)
It’s not all George Lee’s fault…

It's handy for us who use computers for our jobs you can have it on in the background and look in every so often. Then when you go home again. It's no wonder the economy is in the state it's in.
I worked inside only once ever and that was in a factory, and I could not get over how much time was spent just acting the maggot on-line, the entire engineering staff spent the day on porn sites and such, absolutely the bare minimum was done, I was really surprised, (didn’t give a f**k), but was surprised, one fella, (very high up) spent his day putting his porn collection in alphabetical order, another his joke (Inverted comma’s) collection likewise, this was a worldwide known company, one of the most recognized anywhere and these were the movers and shakers of the company, if that is an indication of the country as a whole, then were long since up s**t creek.
I normally would not be within 10 miles of a computer in a wood, but am home at the moment because there’s close to the bones of E100,000 worth of horse flesh here right now, 60% of which are not mine but other owner’s who’ve left them here for an ‘overnight’ with Eveready Eddie. My nerves couldn’t handle leaving them unattended as if any were stolen (which happens a lot) I’d never be able to pay the owner, so I wouldn’t chance it. And if there’s one thing you can rely on with horses, it that as soon as you turn your back, something happens to them, either illness, or half a dozen different, the saying ‘a strong as a Horse” is not really true, they get knocked out by nearly everything.
