I am outraged to see a new profile called Panthera listed today for Limerick. This lady must think that she is god's gift to mankind 'coz she's lookin' for an incredible 200 Euros for just half an hour.

To the best of my recollection, no other escort has escalated the price bar to such a high level before.

I may pay that kind of money once-off for Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts or Aishwarya Rai, not for some girl who cant even spell her name properly on her own profile and looks fairly ordinary (granting that her pics are original).

As a regular punter (average thrice a week), I am already spending 20000+ euros annually. Thankfully, sometimes I get a shag for 50 bucks on Dock road, or sometimes even my repeat girls oblige by agreeing for a 100 euros for a 15 minute quickie) which helps to keep the budget down.

For the sake of maintaining sanity in the punting business, I would like to throw this Q to the community ------ she doesn't even have a review to her credit yet, as compared to the hugely written about escorts who are not charging that much (Laiza/Michelle Mature et all).

What are you worried about? Dont call to her. If you think shes a chancer ,dont go to her. Let me ask you a question. If all the escorts charged the same ,would punters die off? Course not. the fact is women will always have the mans hand. All she has to do is throw the bait and the man will bite. Same with escorts, they can charge what they want because they will always, always have customers. I know for a fact that two massage parlours in Cork have gone from 130 -150/half hour. Hasnt affected buisiness none bit. again the man will still bite.

You know something else. If it wasnt for the fact that money is flying around this country at the moment ,90% of these girls would go elsewhere and let the irish punter go and fuck himself. If the economy took a bad dip they would go elsewhere. this is the country of expense along with Denmark and Scandanavia but the cost of living is not quite up to Den and Scan yet. So this is the most expensive, properous but cheapest of the expensive to survive, hence the place to be.

There was actually something similier here in Dublin way back in late Summer, some late 30s, foreign escort (claimed she was a air hostress) and was asking for I think, 200e or a little more for 30 minutes, she did actually attract me (well the photos did anyway) but when I saw the price, I told myself forget about it!
There are far better deals to be got, certainly here in the Fair City. Michelle Mature (Dublin 4)and Juliet (Dublin 8) are just 2, another Dublin 8 escort which I have not yet visited (Michelli) offers a good 80e deal. In many ways we Dublin punters are spoiled for choice when trying to pick a escort to visit.
I dont know what these other overpriced escorts offer that is suppose to attract punters, but the policy of boycotting them until they see the error of their ways is the only real action that punters can do.
Incidentally its always the real punters who point out these aspects of the whole escort business, and whom always try to improve things, the real punters are the guys who actually visit escorts, and pay out the cash which keeps the whole Irish escort scene rolling, but I have noticed on some recent threads some of the indefinable, half baked comments that some guys post up, guys which I sometimes wonder that dispite what they say, do they actually visit escorts/.

Too true - I was browsing tonight and came across the lovely Panthera but skipped her due to her outragous price. Avoid these girls that charge OTT prices.

Yes i have used escorts but not since last Sept. Escorts were just something that i did now and then and never was or will be a major part of my life. In fact i wouldnt have been around esorting as much but for the fact that some ended up gfs. Mostly i simply dont need escorts. I go out and pick up in pubs and clubs and other places.

Fact is, If all the escorts came together and raised their prices overnight (for arguments sake- 200 for half hour, 300 for hour) There would always be a few cute ones who would openingly drop their rates to very reasonable prices and essentially draw in punters more than the upper priced escorts. Its already happening here in Dublin, with several escorts been cute enough to see the benefits.
One very well mentioned escort (British, goes home weekends) actually told me during a punt that her phone is constantly ringing with punters, so much so, that she does not answer while working, she does not have to- just takes whatever messages are left, to quote her -"The Money is here in Dublin". She really seemed to enjoy her work, I got the impression she started escorting only in the last few years (she is aged approx mid 30s) and was happy with the money she earned for her 4 day week.

There are escorts like her who are clever enough to understand that if they

(a) Have a slightly below normal rate as a fixed price, and
(b) Have a friendly, polite, approachable and open attitude to punters, and
(c) provide "standard" kinky services,

then they will in a very short time (due in no small way to the review section on E-1) virtually have, in their vaginas/arse/mouth a money making machine!
Its a simple rule of business- provide a slightly below normal rates priced and effective service and you draw customers from your higher priced (and probably less effective service) rivals.
Yet as simple as this formula is many escorts cant grasp it (witness reviews of rude uninterested escorts, or as Zo pointed out, overpriced ones). I personnally decided not to go to certain escorts in my time, instead opting for more reasonably priced ones, and my money went into their handbags- not the overpriced escorts handbags.
Punters with little choice of escorts, due to geographical location or horny dicks, will probably still go the to "bad" escorts, but the escorts poor reviews would, over time undercut the amount of guys visiting them.

The botton line is that all punters would never totally unite to improve the escort business any more than all escorts would never totally unite all demanding a standard high payment rate, we are all, punters and escorts, essentially self centered and selfish.
