Just read the whole thing Patricia. Well-written and crystal clear about E-I's position on the matter. I hope they take it into serious consideration before making any decisions.

Prostitution is legal in Switzerland and there are full pages of advertisements for “massages” in Swiss tabloids. Pimping, however, is illegal and uncommon. Most of the prostitutes operate independently from small studios with their cellular phones. Swiss prostitutes pay VAT (Value Added Tax) on their services and some take credit cards. If they have a problem with a client, they will call the police to help them out. They shoud visit swiss guverment as well before they take a decision

Interesting reading, but I'm not sure if publishing the submissions is a really good idea. The reason I say this is because the TORL mob have not published their's - they obviously don't want us to see it because if we did we'd have time to craft a response both individually and as a group to their suggestions before the conference. Maybe we should keep some things under wraps until the conference because there is bound to be something that they haven't thought of yet and if they see it in our submissions they will have time to develop a counter argument for it? ? ?

Think of it as a game of chess - we would be telling them our moves beforehand whilst they keep their's secret.

Agreed, but it's a dirty game and it's not right and E-I won't be playing it.

I should clarify. I think it is wrong that TORL and Ruhama etc won't publish their submissions given they are government funded. I don't think anyone here who won't publish theirs is playing a dirty game. E-I has made the decision to be open about our submissions and not attempt to hide them.

actually that's true because they would love EI to make a wrong move then slaughter the website and escorts to twisting it round to make us look bad. Well i hope every ones hard work pays off.
