Don't let this crowd get away with telling lies. I wonder who the best people to complain to about their posters would be.

Interesting article from the Guardian how the numbers have been gathered, expanded and used to push a political agenda.
I would think that the 75% figure was gathered and used in the same way.

Great article Traveller. One that can be sent on to the committee of the Dept of Justice, in your submission.

The opening paragraph makes a great comparision between these lies and those of the "weapons of mass destruction" debacle.

There is something familiar about the tide of misinformation which has swept through the subject of sex trafficking in the UK: it flows through exactly the same channels as the now notorious torrent about Saddam Hussein's weapons.

A tide of misinformation is what it is! Again the authors of this misinformation will stop at nothing to get their own agenda through - which is ending all sex work. That of course will never happen and will only push the industry further underground making things worse for those working independantly and of their own free will.

I just noticed that that article in the guardian is from 2009. Funny how in 2012, the same tactics are being employed in Ireland!

I always knew I was a late starter, but 36 makes me positively ancient as far as they are concerned.

Too late I'm afraid, I sent mine in before I discovered this article. But here are links to similar articles in one easy to find post.
A couple of videos and the rest are written.
Ladies and Gentlemen feel free to use them in your submissions. The most important thing is that you send one in.
