Found it to be very slow and the questions were well sorted to pat each other on the back.No real answers to the "difficult" ones.
Just more of the same old same old, lies and distortions of the truth.

A few queries were let through as soon as the realised Brooke Magnanti was following the discussion, but all my queries were blocked - and they were all very simple and polite, as follows:

#IEbrothels How do you know women sell sex "because they have to" - many say you are wrong why never listen?

If women sell sex because they have to what will become of them if you take their income away?

Why not fight for resouces to help before legislation to devastate?

Why do you encourage newspapers to invade privacy, expose and destroy lives of ordinary sex workers?

Why are you appointing yourselves to speak on behalf of sex workers knowing that most of them disapprove of you?

If it wasn't so serious it would almost be funny.
Take a look at Ms. Benson's second answer (sorry about not being able to post a link from the phone) and then consider the irony of her claim that Ruhama is a non judgemental organisation

I did get a bit cross and ask @FreeIrishWoman if she was @DublinCallGirl (there is a very strong and convincing rumour doing the rounds) which, of course, they could not, and should not post...but I find it very telling that she did not respond and deny it.

At least I *ASKED* her, and gave her a chance to respond or deny it (more than Ruhama have ever done with anyone here) rather than just believing what I wanted to believe, and passing it on, which was the Ruhama made up @FreeIrishWoman all by themselves, and would get caught out and shown up for what they are some day because of it.

There is no such thing as a non-judgemental organisation as organisations tend to be fighting for one particular cause

Very low of Stephen Rogers to reply to only question about why he exposed sex workers by saying the photos were from Escort-Ireland.com. It is the Irish Examiner who went in with secret cameras and took photos of these women, do not pretend they were photos the women had published themselves on an escort website.

What about escorts that we blur the faces for? I see someone made a point that her face was blurred.

Well they are NOT suppose to abuse state funds to do that.

I would like to see them giving crisis money to the women exposed in Cork to help them with the near inevitable re-location of their families...to accommodation of their choice - not at the mercy of a "Turn Off the Red Light" member org like Sonas or Focus.

Duh! The point would be more that you do not sneak around escort's houses to take pictures to post open face without their knowledge or consent...you wait politely with hands in laps until escorts not only ask but offer to pay you to post them...

It is slightly different, and set to get more so under new privacy laws about to bury this revolting form of pseudo-journalism.

I now have a screen shot, and the exact words he used (whatever he meant) were:
"Jessica, the pictures are all clearly shown on the escort-ireland website"

That is INEXCUSABLE!

They have no respect for sex workers and neither does that moron Rodgers, he was once on tv3 with Benson. they haven't a clue.

Oh Rodgers has a clue what he is doing, see him trying to squirm and weasel his way around one, simple, fair question on twitter:

"Why are you exposing sex workers / people you say are likely trafficked?"

That is *NOT* the wriggling of an innocent man!
