No...those are not actual pimps, just backsliders from the sex addiction (dealers) recovery program.

It staggers me the b*llshit these people get away with, but it is all brass neck...they don't even believe this crap themselves...they are just desperate to live in a world where they can play with people's lives like they were Barbie dolls.

Yes, yet more proof that the "Swedish model" is full of holes!! I'd say there are more pimped girls than ever given that in essence escorting is a criminal activity in Sweden. (The fact that clients only are criminalized doesn't change that. From what I understand - foreign escorts will be asked to leave the country and local ones will be rehabilitated!!!")

Here's another interesting article about a Swedish goal keeper who has been convicted of paying for sex even though the prosecution admits he never actually paid for it!! The article is written by a Swedish journalist who is saying the law needs to be reformed. It seems that at least some Swedes can see the problems associated with their much self acclaimed model!

'Having sex with scantily-clad women in make-up is not a crime'

The conviction of Magnus Hedman (https://www.escort-ireland.com/tag/magnus_hedman) on charges of buying sexual services elevates absurd prejudices with racist overtones to legal precedent and shows that laws criminialising the purchase of sex need to be reformed, argues liberal commentator and author Jan Söderqvist.

It would do no harm from time to time to keep re-visiting the URL I posted as any new article that is tagged with 'Pimping' should show up also. The more evidence we have (and the public & policy makers made aware of it) of the failure of the Swedish approach the better.

Here's one that caught my eye earlier - More Thai women in Swedish sex trade (http://www.thelocal.se/29154/20100921/)

Besides that, Hope ye all had a nice week-end.

There are qualitative issues to be considered. Ruhama don't show stats that incur much discomfort. One has to look inside the mentality of the right-wingers. Ruhama advocate the decriminalization of homosexuality yet they advocate the criminalization of an industry tolerated for thousands of years. When and where has gender profiling; particularly the far right variety; i.e., criminalization, worked.

Ruhama do not usually show stats that they or their abolitionist friends haven't made up out of thin air.

I went through *ALL* the stats on the TORL Faq pages and not one of them held any water at all if you traced it back to source.

Late at night, like this, I get it impossible to wrap my head round how people manage to get themselves paid so much government money to make things up and cause trouble for the people they claim to support.

Strip out the hype and the jerking knees and what these orgs are demanding and promoting amount to serious human rights abuses. We just do not notice because it has become and integral part of our culture for the NGO sector to do just that...after first covertly stripping their target groups of full human status in the eyes of the public at large.

Even Magna Carta (arguably the first bill of human rights and just about the only one the UK ever signed up for) forbids stripping a man of the tools and means of his livelihood *UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES*.

We live in different times, where women are often the head of household, with full responsibility, and some of them use sex work to discharge that responsibility to the best of their ability. HOW DARE anyone try to take that way?

With the spread of Islam into western Europe I reckon the radical feminists are doomed in the long term.
