Obviously secret service agents aren't allowed to fool around! And judging by how gorgeous Colombian women are, I'm not surprised the boys couldn't resist the temptation.
Apparently they were there prior to President Obama's visit to scout round the place and his security requirements. So I can understand the furore. However, U.S. laws have no tolerance for escorting, hence I suspect this reflects that attitude (even though it is apparently legal in Colombia).
So much for sex and espionage myths!
I can't see the Italian or French secret service agents ever being pulled up for the same thing! I would assume it would be expected - particularly if you're Italian!!!:p
I think the most interesting aspect of the story is how it came to light: One of the agents apparently didn't pay and the lady complained to the police. That shows some faith in the Colombian police, not an organisation with a great reputation. Would An Garda Siochana have taken such a complaint as seriously?

You are so missing the moral of the story, this isn't about haggling, it is about him being a cheap fucker, and thinking she as a hooker had no legs to stand on. Oh how he is ruing that day! She may have lost a few dollars, but he has lost sooooo much more. I really can't feel sorry for him.
Completely agree, I bet he never thought, one the escort would report him and two, even if she did the cops would ever listen to her. It's not even about being a cheap fucker, it's about power. These guys think they have it and can do what they want.
