This was brought home to me the other day when visiting an escort. Her friend, another escort, had received a bad review and apparently her phone had virtually stopped ringing since. Had a big impact on this girls business. Don't want to put a link to this review, that would be unfair on the escort, but i did read it and it seemed quite scathing in what the reviewer said, some of it unwarranted in my opinion. Now, I haven't met the girl so can't comment on her service, but he was very critical of the location. saying it was the worst ever, I've been there and it isnt, in fact i thought the opposite. He also commented on her being disinterested in talking and making conversation, the escort in question speaks very limited English, something that is plainly obvious. Don't know, just seems a little unfair that one persons opinion can have such a big impact on someones livelyhood.

I agree that bad reviews do impact a great deal on any girl unlucky enough to receive them, and worse still I know that some guy's use the threat of a bad review to try and get a higher level of service or a reduction in cost of there appointment. I find this a totally disgusting practice that should not be tolerated as using threats of any kind against a girl is a disgrace. On the rare occasion that i review a girl I try to be totally honest and it would take something really unacceptable for me to consider giving a bad review, the problem is that a lot of us rely on reviews as the deciding factor when we are trying to decide between one or two girls we would like to meet and I hope that others have been as honest as I try to be. I really dont know of any way that it can be done in a less blunt and if I'm honest degrading way to talk about another human being. I'm certainly glad that punters are not reviewed as it must be soul destroying to try and give a good service only to find that you later are getting verbally torn to shreds in a forum such as this.

yeah its a difficult one mellors, its like a catch 22 situation, us clients provide the money to fund all of this and like to be warned/alerted to a poor escort however in my opinion no honest client wants to affect someone's livehood.
I think experienced clients can read between the lines and understand that factors such as location/apartment generally arent the make or break factors.
i also feel the person reviewing is important, if its his first review or his 41st review, so when i see a negative i look to see if he has other reviews, next i look to see has he reviewed escorts i have already seen and what was his experience with them. also i think its important to see the escorts reaction too, certaintly this escort could comment on the location i feel. however replies where the escort continues to reinvent new reasons generally sound alarm bells for me. overall its hard for the escort and for the client

Exactly the way i read and research reviews. It was a very negative review throughout, being negative about location and lack of conversation for like i say a very obvious reason, would make me ignore the review. Unfortunately, in this case it seems we are in the minority as clients. I agree about your point about responses!, however, her knowledge of written English is obviously not good enough to state her point of view

If she was genuinely reviewed unfairly, then she should respond properly and reasonably to the review. If she does it can turn a negative into a positive !

Will her escort pal, another pal or internet tools not be of sufficient help to get over this hurdle .? The english can be very plain and rudimentary to get over this .

yeah if she can somehow comment (or instruct her friend to) on the location and how english aint her first language and if she mentions her language (maybe basic english) in her profile then she certaintly will reduce the impact of the review and as ksteve says maybe turn it into a positive. A reasonable response is required thou, as unreasonable one's i feel are obvious to fellow clients

Maybe the review system is a little to blunt.
It is probably different for everyone but what would need to happen for a punter to leave a negative review.
The condition of their accommodation should not be a determinator. Either should lack of English.
IMO a negative review would need to be justified and the service received would need to be poor.
I would hope that anyone leaving a negative review would be giving an honest assessment of the meeting and not trying to jeopardize someones livelihood.
However if the review system is to have integrity negative review are just as important as positive ones but are probably more difficult to write.

aye i know what you mean.I seen an escort who was upset about a bad review and she was talking about stopping because of it.Having said that i went 2 a escort who had got a recent bad review.Info and pics where fine and previous reviews before that where great.Turns out i had a lovely time and did not see what the fuss was about.Same thing the last punt, girl pulled 2 N/A's on her last review's,i went 2 see her and i was blown away(best punt yet).

Everyone's thinking is different. I do check the bad reviews but unless the lads said "no that's not her in the picture" or "very bad service like a dead meat i left asap" or "i had an argument with her she refused to refund my money even i didn't touch her at all" those reviews about an escort 's honesty or service problems. Other than that i don't really think some bad reviews should be allowed at all. Like sometimes a lad left an escort a bad review because she has anal listed but said no to him. But imo the anal has anal giving and anal receiving two types. If the escort only will.do anal giving. Then u shouldn't even ask for receiving. At least shouldn't leave a bad review for it. Any sex against a woman's wish we call it - rape. If she lied, a bad review is she.deserved. But if only because she only refused someone's unwanted request then the bad review should be deleted or change to yellow warning colour for Both side.

ive always thought the review process is essentially chauvinistic and ultimately degrading at the end of the day.It commoditises women and reduces the experience to a product evaluation

Ive tried through my reviews to be always positive and emphasize the sheer wonder of the encounter which should never be taken for granted- ive never had a bad experience but what right should i or any man have to objectivise another human being

Its a game though and I know a lot of the girls have an engrained superficial view which makes THEM value quite highly a positive review ironically

In this world a sense of self is lost ultimately to the pursuit of vanity and wealth.More too to the ego of the reviewer who presumes an unjustified authority of praise or condemnation

You have to remember the power of the green light.

Say an escort eg erika loveforu she has all green lights for reviews your for sure calling her for a good time we have plenty of these level ladies in EI, now say another girl has 1 or 2 red ones I'm looking at percentage 2 outta how many clients say bad things depends on what and who left review,

Personally i have visited girls in past that had 60:40 ratio good v bad and had the night if my life being 100% serious best ride I ever had.

I put 80% of bad reviews down to client hygiene n attitude the rest well you know

What were the other reviews that were written by this reviewer like and what were the other reviews written about this escort like?

If the reviewer had only ever written one review then you cannot give it too much credibility. If he had written a few that were just one liners full of superlatives then you would have to suspect that he was a pimp and was out to put down a rival. If he only ever posted negatives then you would have to assume that the problem was his and not the escort's. If however, he had written a number of reviews that were mostly positive and which read as though they were honest then you would have reason to have some doubts over that escort.

Similar things can be applied to the escort's other reviews. If they all read like pimp-tastic sales pitches then you would have to give more weight to the negative one but if they all look OK then you would have to say that there would be doubts about the negative review.

I guess that not all potential clients will consider this though.

Went to visit a girl today. Made a request for her to wear something from her photos. No prob she said. Arrived, told wait 10 mins. Waited. Told wait 10 more. Went to room and when she opened the door, I'm not sure it was her in the photos. She looked different. I declined to stay but have not done a negative or grey review as there is doubt in my mind it was/not her. I'll be watching to see does anyone else comment. She has over 10 reviews and less than 20 but no one has made a comment on her looks to date.

just seems a little unfair that one persons opinion can have such a big impact on someones livelyhood.

Seems some of you are broadly tip toeing around the elephant in the room...
Of course it's very unfair to denigrate a girl on basis of English proficiency or location ( short of Baghdad etc) & it's patently clear that a bad review ( if it's the first for an unknown girl, or from a trusted punter) can damage an escorts' business to the degree she packs in or moves on..but:
What about the whole issue of politeness clouding honesty ( disclaimer: I don't review on EI as I'm based in USA)- the Reviews here are rather short & having spent a year reading between the lines it <seems> that the same issue is prevalent worldwide- a small proportion of girls in this game are unfortunately a mess, they're drunk, they offer shoddy mechanical service & they shouldn't be plying this trade. Reviewers in this situation still need to be respectful but still tell the truth!
Before anybody jumps on me- please don't misconstrue where I'm coming from- many girls do this to feed other mouth(s) & I don't need a Victoria Secret model waiting for me- but imho there are certain cases where Reviewers really can in good conscience write a 'negative review'- just my two cents...

ps I fully agree with comments re clients' hygiene, some guys just being dickheads etc- but all other things being equal, I still stand over my central observation.

Although this topic has come up before, it is nonetheless an important issue, and one that deserves debate.
We all know reviews whether positive or negative can have a major impact on a ladies business, especially if she has little or no reviews to her name.
The question to be asked is how to proceed?

Some may say that those that review should do so thoughtfully and in a factual basis only, leaving their opinions and views aside. After all, we may all interpret our experiences differently!
The person who submitted the review may not be fully aware of the impact of his review - this perhaps only comes through experience.
It is a pity that all members could not undergo a period of 'apprenticeship' through this forum before submitting reviews, so as to educate them on the consequences that their reviews and actions make.

Some posters comment on the review system and how it may at times degrade a lady. I understand this view and the concerns of the said posters, however for some, the review system is important and therefore a 'tool' for them using this 'service'.

Although the 'trusted reviewer' system was brought into disrepute by some members, it nonetheless provided in my opinion *a basis to trust a particular review!

Can a poster be banned for mentioning TR's ?
I wonder!

Dont understand the issue really. If you had a really bad service, leave a red. If it was not too bad but not too great, leave a grey. Unless it was a personal issue, such as non compatibility, in which case say so.

If you want to be fair, stick to five main points-

Appearence
Attitude
Atmosphere
Accommodation
Service

No more, no less. This is not the Michelin guide. Ranting will make your review look silly. Pussyfooting will leave all confused. Stick to the the plain facts and no more.

N.B Whatever you do, do not make ridiculous responses if the lady replies, unless its a blatant lie. It degenerates into nonsense and makes you look slightly odd.

Neutral and negative reviews cant be that bad. I see most of the top rated ladies have one or two, and I expect those are the ones clients want to read. Lets not get carried away, ladies work with no reviews and unverified pics.

I agree about your point about responses!, however, her knowledge of written English is obviously not good enough to state her point of view

Can she get in touch with a native speaker who will help her to craft a response? It would be better if that person was a punter and not an escort as a punter is more likely to understand what to write in order to get through to other punters. Few of the escort responses to bad reviews actually seem to help. A good response should be frank but should avoid being rude or sarcastic about the client. Remember, the point of the response is to improve her lot and not to vent understandable anger and frustration.

Perhaps she could contact one of her previous reviewers.

If she wants to do that but cannot find somebody that way then I will put my hand up as I am sure will many others.

She does not need to have a active forum account as E-I will post her response on her behalf if needed.
