The stigma attached to those women needs to begone they are human beings who deserve to choose their own personal relationships with other consenting adults and without interference from third parties.

Two great posts Queen Bee! Fair play to you. This is more ammo that we have now to ram home to the turn off the red light crowd that they don't know what they're talking about.

Ok. let me get this straight. Is this "turn off the red light" campaign against human trafficking or prostitution overall? If the later, then it's totally messed up. It's throwing the baby out with the bathwater. From my admittedly limited experience of the trade, both parties get a lot out of it. We all know that the client gets a lot of physical and emotional benefit and hopefully, the escort gets some of that too along with the financial award that they earn.

Extracted this from the Turn Off The Blue Light Campaign site for you.

''Many of Ireland’s sex workers are Irish or UK nationals but most are foreign nationals. This should not however be confused with their being victims of trafficking which is exactly what anti-prostitution campaigners want you to do.''

Here is the link to the site:

We all know that the client gets a lot of physical and emotional benefit and hopefully, the escort gets some of that too along with the financial award that they earn. Its a campaign that disrespects the human rights of women and men who want to choose their own personal relationships with friends and consenting adults in privacy, they also proclaim that all escorts are troubled and couldn't possibly be escorting out of their own free will and choice which couldn't be more further away from the truth, the idea that the majority of the women escort out of their own free will and choice is totally inconcievable for those religious fanatics that are behind the campaign to acknowledge! , it is also interesting to note that many of the oppressive organisations behind their campaign were guilty of horrible crimes against young women through the magdalene asylums. Human rights are whats needed in todays society not more oppression from church run organisations
