two customers in the last two days said they where asked to leave reviews!! one actually only signed up because he was specifically asked to, and the other said he was fairly friendy with an escort and she asked him to leave her two friends reviews !!!!!
is this normal , i would never dream of ASKING for one, either he doesnt or u get a pleasent surprise and he does!!!

I mentioned in another thread that the idea of asking to have a review left is cringe worthy! It almost makes me think that some escorts overperform soley to get a review which is madness.
As you say babe it's a nice surprise if you get one but no biggie if you don't. However I guess it's better than them writing bloody fake ones!

Ya getting a request for a review is common enough with new girls. I can understand why also, having a few reviews is better than having none. I have only reviewed twice and one of them I was asked for, but she deserved it we really clicked.

I understand where you are coming from but then again its a contradiction....1 min someone make a thread over more punters to start put reviews another girls talking about clients being requested for review.....At times are clients that would like to put reviews but they do not now the importance of sharing their experience.....Also some clients wont bother with reviews unless they get request and after they might start sharing the time with every escort....

Oh, several guys leave reviews for their escorts friends. Some TR's. Absolute bollocks as they wouldn't like to go on a review that wasn't genuine but they don't mind leaving them.

sorry rachel but I dont know other girls opinions here so I can only talk for myself.. I do not think an escort should ask a client for reviews.. it sort of crosses the line a bit.. if a clent wishes to share his experience with the nation that should be his choice.. not the escorts.. so lets see the client feels after he left he never enjoyed the visit as much as he thought writes a negative review.. then the escort gives out.. but forgets to say she asked for the review.. a kiss on the cheek as the client is leaving oh by the way darling leave me a review.. real good finish for appointment.. lol..x

I think there's a balance to this. Escorts shouldn't demand reviews and should never ask for a review to be left for another girl.
However, putting myself in a lady's shoes - if she's been told by a client how wonderful she was etc... then I think it might be ok for her to suggest that he put those compliments down in a review.
Thats actually how I started reviewing. I was seeing this lovely gorgeous young lady (mmm..getting distracted now...:p) - and I was telling how I was she had great reviews and that it influenced my choice in seeing her. She then casually mentioned that she hadn't had a review in awhile and I would be welcome to leave one. It was all very nonchalant and I didn't feel I was under any pressure to do so. I explained that I wasn't registered with E-I and hadn't been planning to leave reviews. She was nonplussed and very pleasant throughout inspite of what I'd said. However, after going home, I had a think about it and came to the conclusions that I still hold to (ie. that I really should leave a review everytime I see a new lady). I signed up the next day and left her a review.
I think in the ideal world, clients would all be gentleman and leave reviews. And escorts would all be ladies and not have to ask for one. Having said the world we live in is far from ideal, and this industry even worse!
As for you my darling Ciara - you never need to ask for a review. Your whole being demands that any guy in his right senses, who's had the privilege, wont be able to stop talking about you (and hence be unable to stop writing you a review).:D
From my experience I don't think it happens that often. I've only been asked to leave a review once. And I did, but I was going to anyway. I don't think an escort should ask though
Sometimes it is hard to avoid, but to be honest I hate when the discussion about reviews comes up during an appointment. I don't think a client should really mention it either, certainly not at the start anyway.
And likewise just as it is not right for escorts to ask for reviews, I don't think a client should ask for references either. If and when you get them, then they should be a surprise, appreciated and accepted gratefully
I've been asked if I was going to leave a review a few times. I'm not sure how I feel about it, a little uncomfortable but it all depends on how it's done.
The " So baby are you going to leave me a good review ?? " and then waiting for an answer. Is not a good idea in my opinion.
But at the end of an appointment if the escort just says " Don't forget to leave a review, if you want to. " Does no harm.

I haven't been asked to leave a review but I agree with some of the posts above that it's important to leave them especially if you make your own decisions on which girl to call from reading the reviews.
I haven't left a review on a couple of occasions because we didn't 'click' & it wasn't really the girls fault so while I couldn't call the experience good, it wouldn't have seemed fault to leave a negative review.
I only left one negative review but it was because the experience was SO appalling although I realised after that some of the girls found it a bit off putting so I wouldn't leave something that explicit again.

Fair points Amy, but it's all down to how the conversation is approached. If it is dignified and at the end then yes I've no problem with that. But if it comes up at the start it is wrong.
Also for those that use the reviews to help make their choice, they should also post reviews to help others

I dont usually get involved in these discussions much but just saw the topic and it jogged a memory in me.
Over a year ago(long before I becae a TR) I was asked to leave a review by a lady on this site.
She asked me while I was with her in the hotel room, but I was really busy at work and forgot to leave it for a few days.
I then got a text asking did I really have a good time with her and if I did could I leave the review.
This was followed later by a pm(if not 2, I cant remember) asking me to leave a review.
At this point I felt a bit harassed and to make a long story short I never left the lady a review.
What is a real pity was that I had a great time with her and of I was left alone I am sure I would have left her a glowing review in a week or two or whenever I got the chance.
Was I being petty here? I always wondered if I was out of line not just writing the lady a review, but I just felt a bit under pressure to do it.

This is a loaded subject. I have been asked a few times to leave a review - in one case I had already done it! In other cases, I decide. I don't review them all and I NEVER give exact details on the appointment (including time and day) or make it too specific, for my personal protection.
I've no doubt that some escorts are very focused on their reviews. Why? Professional pride, a great way to attract business, more chance of meeting TRs who are generally a better class of client I'd say, and good advertising for what to expect on a visit.
I notice some escorts have over a hundred reviews and while they're obviously busy, I feel most of them MUST be asking clients for reviews.
I also notice that some escorts suddenly become popular on the Latest Reviews board, the latest example that springs to mind is Anny Mary, who also requested me as a Friend. Fair enough, I'm all for target marketing, but I hope all these reviews are genuine, they're all complimentary. I use this example as I won't be visiting Anny Mary as it happens, 'cos she doesn't do one or 2 things I usually ask for. We've discussed and she's cool with it - otherwise she seems like a lovely lady.

Quite agree, these girls don't need to ask, also some of the girls who build up reviews quickly do it because they really impress. However,I'm not niave enough to believe fake reviewing doesn't take place.
Only once been asked very politely and with no pressure if I'd consider leaving a review and that was in what I saw as exceptional circumstances. (girl in question had flown over from the UK only for a few days, timed it just as everyone got snowed in and couldn't answer calls on her UK mobile)

Had been browsing this site for a while before I visited my first escort so I knew about the review system - decided that since I was using reviews to select an escort it was only fair that I leave reviews. Of all the escorts I have visited I have only once been asked to write a review.

I realised one day that I was doing a disservice to the ladies that I should have been reviewing.
And the few bad experiences I had had up to then, I was only doing other punters a disservice too by not reviewing to warn them.

I had a think about this and initially thought the same thing but i now don't think this is neccaserilly true. Most ladies that have heaps of reviews have been touring Ireland for a couple of years hence such a high number. Also I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are already "established" for want of a better word. I feel when an escort is very well known it may earn a reviewer more brownie points if they have seen her. Or at least when a thread starts to talk about a certain established lady the reviewer can indulge in conversation. Also a lot of ladies ask for references now days so a reviewer can say "check my reviews I've seen such and such." I know that if a client quotes and proves that he has seen a fairly established lady I am much more likely to see him.
In contrast I feel it is probably harder in some ways for the most reviewed ladies to get more as sometimes people don't see the point of repeating the same praises.
I hate to think that escorts are requesting reviews but it obviously happens. I think a subtle hint when a client is praising you is one thing but pms and texts are out of order. Hopefully more guys will start to review as it really does help an escort and a punter

You've hit the nail on the head Amber, there is a certain 'cache' about seeing some of the more established girls to some of the posters on here and also offers a safe bet for less experienced clients. I've recently changed my mind on leaving reviews as despite my reservations, it is unfair on both escorts and prospective clients not to review.
I'm sure it does get harder for establish girls to get reviews, I recently posted a review on an escort who has loads of reviews,what can you say that hasn't been said again and again and again

i would always use the review system on this site as a guide to meeting a new girl.
so far is has been 100% accurate and i have never been disappointed.
i have been asked once to offer a review and it did not bother me as someone said earlier its better than people making up fake ones.
with new girls starting i think it would be very important for them to get some reviews in order to put themselves out there.
i will always review a girl if i have had a positive or experience as i value reading other reviews

Not even in circumstances when some folks might expect it. Consider something like this which has happened to me more than once.

It works both ways.
If you have a lot of good reviews certain clients will be more likely to see you as they know you are genuine etc. However some will be put off.
If you have no reviews certain clients will come to see you as they like the anon side of you and can fantasise that you don't fuck so many many.
However what burns me is when I read a thread from a guy asking for advice on an escort and he gets told "nah don't see her she has no reviews". Un verified pics are one thing but advising a guy not to visit an escort as she has no reviews is unjust and a bit mean imo. Interesting, but entirely the reverse of my experience. I returned to work after a lengthy break, having deleted all my reviews from Punternet when I got married. I returned to work less than a year ago, with no reviews anywhere. It has been interesting to note the difference in the amount of bookings I received 6 months ago, when I had no reviews, and the amount of bookings I get now. It has doubled. I can also track my websites, I notice exactly where and when there is a spike in traffic and bookings and that always corresponds with a recent report.

I do think reviews are important but I also think too many are nearly worse.It gives out the wrong vibe.
I also think pics are very important and yes I understand fully all the reasons why these may be difficult to publish but I still think clear pics are a determining factor. Where there are no pics then the importance of reviews goes up.

I have to echo what charlotte has said,i only visit ie a few times a year and do not have many reviews.However i continue to see many regular clients and new and appear not to be affected by the review system. Many of the guys i see are not registered with the site and use it just to see the girls. Hence they do not take part in forum chat. I havent asked guys for a review but on occassions we have discussed reviews and several guys have said they do not read the reviews as they do no know how trustworthy they are, also what one client may see as a great lady may not be the same experience for them as well all know a lot also comes down to chemistry as well. I've only just signed up here, same username on the other site which is dead now. Anyway, over the years I have seen a fairly high number of Escorts and have only been asked to leave a review twice (ish). Guys, please don’t generalise. It’s perfectly fine not to ask for reviews and also perfectly fine if you do it in a nice and dignified way, more like a friendly informational chat, not as a demand or a cheeky request to get a positive one.
On one hand, you would like more guys to review. Are you aware that most of those guys would not do it unless someone takes the initiative to bring in discussion reviews?
There are a few nice reviewers on this site that have registered because I asked them to. There are others that did it because some other escorts nicely brought this into discussion. Any other escort that they have subsequently seen benefited of the innocent suggestion done by the first escort. I see it as a win-win situation.
It’s funny. I was asked to leave a review by a young Lady way back in February or March ’09.
I eventually got around to registering near Paddy’s Day, and when I logged in to leave her a review, she was no longer on the site!
But as you said, any Escort that I have reviewed since has benefitted was this first request. Otherwise I would never have registered (well at least until the next time I was asked). Being asked by an Escort is not something I have come across. I actually ask would they mind if I leave a review, usually on my way out the door or by text message afterwards.
A review can be quite personal, and several times I was asked not to go into any details (but the site was updated a while ago, so the Escort could opt out of the details anyway).
I’m a firm believer that you should take most reviews with a pinch of salt. I have found that if you treat the Lady with respect (which I would like to think I do) then you get much more than someone who does not. It’s a fair system, as long as you are willing to accept that nothing is perfect.

There's no reason why he wouldn't be an actual reviewer. If he goes to the trouble of emailing various ladies offering reviews for special treatment then chances are he's quite well acquainted with the whole system so he probably does have an account, he could even have multiple accounts to review with.
