Several years ago when I was was a store manager, we allowed a well known charity to leave the money boxes at the till for people to leave change. Although these boxes were chained to the till, some swine managed to use cutters to break the chain and ran off with the cash. I was ashamed to tell the organisers who came round to collect the boxes that they had been robbed, and a rather disappointed (but not surprised) elderly gentleman said, "Yes, I understand. Thank you anyway." I felt like I wanted the earth to swallow me up.
Bastards!
Its bad enough these people stole the present from the children but they also must have to put up with abuse as they arrive and leave the centre according to that news article, how pathetic can some people be?
