Not sure if this has been tried before but a new members forum or chat room for newbies may be useful for those who feel a little bit uncomfortable at jumping in at the deep end. Probably been thought of before but would be interested in views on this.

In theory it might seem like a good idea but I wonder how many members would actually use it if it were brought in.
After all as it is there are some forums here which are not used that much.

I think it would end up a playground for people to wind up newbies... not the message we want to give out.

How about just a thread in the General Chat for new members to introduce themselves. Other forums have them, it may work here.

Thats exactly what I was looking for...and I think it's badly needed. And this is coming from a guy who just joined today.

Its a shame that this wouldnt work. In recent weeks a lot of guys have joined and said hi in general chat and ive seen them being accused of being banned users. I know that several have been banned users but there are 1 or 2 that have probably been genuine and i believe this would put them off posting here which is a shame. It has even happened to an escort a while back who didnt have her profile connected to her message board name.

I was only a member for 3 days when I was suspected of being someone else in disguise. It was very off-putting

New members will soon find their way around.
Deep End!!!
Why not have a separate forum for all the old crusties instead? :)

Ya think its a really good idea
obviously newbies who join don't have much of a clue as to how to approach punting
and a FAQ style thread might help to answer any of the major questions
plus a sort of agony aunt type forum where the 'what should i do/ is this normal' questions
can be thrown to the floor for the more 'established' clients/escorts to answer
