Hi there Gents,
Earlier today gameboy a member here got in touch with me and will post more on this topic soon however he asked me to post a message in advance just to get the warning out...Earlier today he had a private number ring him and ask him for his personal details name and address when he refused he was told that it was paul murphy from the pearse street guarda station and that his number had been found related to brothels when he still wouldnt budge his real identification he was told that an escort in dublin had been badly attacked and his number was found on her contact list he did not give his details but agreed to visit the station anyhow and basically when he got there there was a guard with this name but he hadnt a clue what he was talking about...In any event we think that someone has somehow gooten an escorts phone and will phone any contact there for bad motives...Afterall of this this person rang gameboy again and told him where was he he then replied he knew that this was a trick and the other gent ranted and raved for awhile yet and from thereon gamebuy told him great i have had you on the phone longer then 20 seconds the guards will be with you soon the gent said a profuse thing and hung up...This is just an early warning till gameboy who is my regular client can update you all further later today or tomoro be careful alyssaxxxx

Couldnt this just be an escort whoes got all phone numbers off ex clients?Could she and her pimp not be trying to set up clients? Or scare them away from touring women? Or some brothel owner? It obviously not the Police. I also dont belive its from an escort who lost her phone.

Who ever is trying to scare escorts or their clients must have a vested interest in trying to stop clients seeing touring girls. Why? Not making enough money out of their own girl or girls?
There is something fishy about this whole blackmail scam. Does anyone else see through it? Or is it just me?

Us touring women wouldnt come to Ireland if we had no trade. But the irish guys want us to visit.

Why on earth does there have to be such problems? If anyone knows please enlighten me. I for one only see a small amount of clients per day. Not enough to damage anyone else. So why I was a threat, goodness knows.

Hi All

I'm the victim.Could not post until now as I am travelling and have only had net access from now..
The guy who called had a thick Midlands accent and sounded like a Garda. At first I thought it was a wind up and put the phone down.He called back 10 mins later and said a girl had been beaten up and my number was in her SIM memory. He claimed his name was Garda xxxx xxxxx from Pearse St Garda Station. He told me to come into the station but for the moment to give him my name and addresse.I refused and he said he could get it from the telephone company and if I didn't give it and I found myself in Court,I would be in trouble for obstructing the Garda in their enquiries etc.,etc. Anyway,I called Pearse St and there is a Garda by that name there. He told me he knew nothing about any such incident and that either (a)these guys had stolen a phone and were hoping to blackmail me if they got my name and address or (b) they were doing an identity theft scam from the information they garnered. He asked me would I give my tel number and they would monitor it if I could get them to stay on line for more than 20 secs. The scumbags called me later and started to abuse me,I kept them going for about 40 odd secs and when I could get a word in told them the call was being monitored and the cops would now know who they were. After a couple of expletives they hung up.
So guys, beware. If you get a call like this, just hang up.Girls please look after your mobiles and lock you SIM when not in use.

And to the Assholes who called me...FUCK OFF!And I hope the cops have traced you.

What a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a fun weekend all:rolleyes:

Worrying indeed.

I occurs to me that I have often been within grabbing distance of an escort's telephone when on a punt. Sometimes they have more than one on a coffee table in the living room of their apartment. In days gone by, when I used to go to "agencies" it was not uncommon to see five or six 'phones lying around the place!

Just one more argument in favour of getting yourself a "punting phone" - you can pick up a mobile now for 50-60 quid, and you get nearly as much free credit with it. Or buy a sim-card for 10 euro - they always come with at least a tenner credit on them.

Escorts use phones just for work so it makes sense for us punters to use phones just for punting!!
Said this a while back ........... but was slagged for it!!??!!

Well I've followed your advice re 2nd punting phone.Main problem was that I've had to cancel my normal mobile phone number and get the word to everyone that I now have a new number.
Ah well, keep learning all the time.

How would they show up if the only contact detail they have is a phone number?
(assuming the phone is not registered)

In this case the number would have been listed so the guards would have known who it was...Also I doubt the guards would use a private number for initial contact anyways hope these boys get caught xxx
