I would find it a very big help if the number of reviews that a reviewer has could be put up beside the name on the list of an escort's reviews and on the latest reviews page. I would then be able to stop wasting my time with the one-off reviews. It would also be an indication of how fake a particular escort's reviews are.

Great Idea, the number of reviews should be in brackets in reviewer field of list
if possible. Then U could see at a glance what the craic was with an escorts reviews.
like on ebay see below the number in brackets is amount of feedback they have next to name.

a-{(bx5)+(cx5)}
d
where a=the sum of all reviews made by all positive reviewers of the escort
b=the sum of all reviews made by all negative reviewers of the escort
c=the sum of all once-off reviews over 3 months old(I believe most are fake)
d=the sum of all reviews of the escort
The higher the number produced by this formula for a particular escort, the higher the probability thet the the escort is good and has genuine reviews. I know that this is very imperfect but it is only intended as an indication. If the number of reviews are displayed alongside the reviewers name, the quotient would be quick and easy to work out.
Unfortunately, the quotient will be distorted by the multiple pimp or 'backscratcher' reviews that some rings have developed but I still think that it will help.

Your number will be negative for any new escort with max 5 reviews and at least one review from any single reviewer :cool: There are also genuine reviewers with one review, not all of them are fake.

Jesus Lads you can't reduce such a subjective and intimate experience to equations that only Einstein could muster a hard on for.
There is merit in the unknown diamond that gets discovered by taking a chance now and then...
Smart men, don't get me wrong but this is getting into a beautiful mind territory when its really about finding a beautiful body for 30/60 minutes and that ain't rocket science.

This would be an open invitation to blackmail. It would be really easy to lower an escort's score. Just write a review from a new account and wait. Counting negative reviews x5 has a similar effect. I think fake negative reviews are less common than fake positive reviews, but they have a much larger effect.
Fortunately most of the people who write fake reviews aren't very good at it, so they are not too hard to spot, if you actually read the reviews.

Two points, the penalty for a single review would only be after 3months. Secondly, if the other reviewers had a total of say 40 reviews between them, then the quotient would be thus
40 - (1x5) =7

I fully accept that there are many flaws in the assessment. For escorts with very few reviews, it may be useless. In any event it is only meant as an aid.

Seriously though, I would have no intention to do the actual maths. The point is that an escort with some bad reviews and a lot of one-off reviews will stand out if the number of reviews are indicated after the reviewers name.

Yes but science has also come up with ways to make fake diamonds :) thats my point, nothing is foolproof and although stats and graphs have a place and a use they fall short when you factor in the nature of what is being purchased and how one mans diamond is another mans lump of coal.

In a sense the review system is an invitation to blackmail. I do not see that the mathematical assessment of the reviews would affect the number of fake reviews. I would expect that the assessment would throw up more escorts who would be good candidates for Whitenight's detective work.
I agree that this is a good idea, but it won't really tell you very much except for the escorts who have a lot of reviews. In fact, nearly all escorts have lots of reviews from people with few reviews. And some fake reviewers have written many reviews. So having reviews from people with few reviews isn't necessarily bad and having reviews from people with many reviews isn't necessarily good. You need a lot of reviews before you can see a pattern in the numbers.
I'm not opposed to your idea of listing numbers of reviews after names. I think it's a good idea, but I think we should all have a realistic idea of how much information you can expect to get from a review without actually reading it.

It is important to understand that this is only an aide in trying to identify the con artists who continuously post good reviews of themselves. At best, it will throw up more candidates for Whitenight to investigate

Hear hear Qph, I would never reduce a woman to an equation. This whole area is just so subjective and prone to exaggeration as well as faking, that you might as well shove a carrot up your arse in an attempt to analyse how it tastes. On this occasion you should be listening to what your body is telling you about who or what it enjoys and leave the mind masturbation exercises for pseudo-intellectual sites.
Instead of equations that Einstein would have been proud of, a simple E-I (ejaculation index) would suffice. If your mickeys could talk, what would they say? In Ex P's case........................ probably "leave me alone ffs". :D:D:D

There is no harm indeed in this but I guess this statistic would be of little or no importance when deciding to see an escort. Sometimes it may be misleading in regard of escorts' popularity, some people will always read the fake and negative reviews in the latest review section, just out of curiosity.

However I believe it is possible to defeat the vast majority of fake reviewers with maths.
The system could be defeated by a reviewer ring but they would have to be clever.
The system
Its kind of similar to what EL gordo does by hand every month
Each review could be feed into a formula based on its inputs
this formula would assign a number to this review out of 10.
The escorts reviews could then be averaged out to give a reliabity score.
which could be put next to each escorts name together with no of reviews they have
The input varibles from each review to the formula could be as follows
is it ratted?
Satisfaction ratting?***
No of previous reviews?
Trusted reviewer?
No of messge board posts?
***could be an average of all the question asked for a rating in the review.
So an unratted review from a trusted reviewer with plenty of previous reviews
and message boards posts and a very satisfied rating for all questions would be a 10
a ratted review from untrusted reviewer with no reviews or posts would be close to zero.
Escorts could be listed by reliablity score or no of reviews or both.
Getting the weighting of variables and the formula right would take a bit of time
but wouldn't be that hard. The whole thing could work automated once set up.
As a start E-I should due what has proposed at start of thread put the no of reviews reviewer had next to name, this is in the works as already mentioned.

Thanks. Luckily both these suggestions were good ideas and easy enough for us to do, so I got them done without too much nerd whipping! Any other good ideas that we could impliment easily, keep them coming in! :D

I know that it may be more difficult to implement but we really need a copy of the pictures/profile, as at the review date, attached to the reviews. As it is, reviewers can confirm that photos are genuine only to see fake photos go up the next day. If a girl can change her name, her photos, her details, her rates and her favourites, what relevance have any reviews?? Girls will be able to sell their reviews!!
