View Full Version : The danger of leaving a negative review

I dunno if this is the sort of thread that's discouraged on the site... if so, mods, please let me know.. I just felt it was something I had to get off my chest and see what others feel about it.

Much as I hated doing so, I left a fairly strong negative review for an escort recently. Considering that the reviews are public, I don't need to mention the escort in question by name, and you can all see it was one negative review in a sea of positive ones. As I said, I really didn't like doing it, but I felt it was warranted after the service (or lack thereof) which I received. I was a little surprised when I looked through her reviews before posting mine and saw so many positives, to be honest - considering the appointment I'd just had - although I did see a couple of negative ones which reflected my thoughts, and which there were none of the escorts own comments on.

Now I didn't think at the time of writing that it'd come back to bite me, but now I kinda wish I could delete the review as the escort in question basically commented on it suggesting that I didn't receive these services because I wasn't "CLEAN". Honestly, nothing could be further from the truth. I'm always quite particular about cleanliness and hygiene - plus it was fairly early in the day so - I wasn't even particularly sweaty. I just got nothing but a cold and empty/uninterested feeling from her from the very start and probably should have left much earlier (perhaps straight after I was refused a shower!).

I wouldn't call myself a seasoned punter by any means, but I certainly respect the ladies well enough to turn up when I say I will, well dressed and clean (all over), so this response surprised me to say the least. It struck me since that my writing a review like this could possible expose me to prejudice by other escorts who may scan through review historys and think "Oh, I don't want HIM calling to me" - especially if there's a credible reply from the escort in question saying that you weren't clean or hygenic... in fairness, who are other escorts or other people on the site going to believe.. the escort with the 99% thumbs up review record, or the part-time punter?

Her reply on the review came almost 2 weeks after I posted the review itself (which was less than an hour after the appointment), which also made me wonder if she even remembered me at all. It definitely would make me think twice about leaving a negative review again - no matter how deserved it may be. I'm just wondering what others think though... Do you avoid leaving a negative review? (go with a policy of "if you've nothing nice to say, say nothing..."?) Or maybe, I'm being overly paranoid?

Don't worry about it as its the Escorts who pay E-I so naturally they going to get to have the last say and we all know some will lie and do anything to protect their business and make the client look bad if he leaves a genuine review. Its just life

We need honest reviews in the system, otherwise what's the point. Although, I do see the potential pitfalls for everybody

I wouldn't worry about it. You already have one review since, so it didn't stop her and it is probably one of the only replies that could be said and unable to question, but I noticed it was a 9am booking, so you were likely fresh out of the shower.

It a shame you didn't mention in the content of your message that you were not offered a shower, as if the shoe were on the other foot, that would probably be something I wouldn't like, but saying it now, sounds like a bit of tit for tat.

I left a neutral grey review recently as I was disappointed with service but the girl was nice enough
And didn't do anything wrong just didn't click. But it cost me with an established escort
who wouldn't see me cos I was critical and she thought my expectations were too high.

If you can't be honest then why have reviews.

For every action there is always and equal and opposite reaction — it is not that something might come back to bite you — you just have to be prepared for the consequences of your actions.

You say you weren't "particularly sweaty" which would employ that you were were somewhat sweaty — strange that the lady in question didn't insist on you having a shower.

Having met the lady about a year ago I had a completely different experience — You say in the review "she had no interest in French Kissing and charged extra for OWO. She wasn't interested in being kissed anywhere but on the lips - and no tongues allowed. Nor was she interested in nipple play" — one of the things I recall about her was her kissing — it was out of this world! Also, there was no additional charge for OWO at the time.

Perhaps you met her on an off day? Perhaps she is not an early bird?

Maybe you should be allowed to edit your text after a reply has been made

I was actually going to bring up something in a similar vein. I've posted 2 reviews within the last while. The first was a negative review but I thought it was fair and in no way harsh. It was honest though. However it was deleted. I can see why the lady might not want the review seen as if I read it, I wouldn't make contact. My second was a positive review of another lady, and once again an honest review, but this one has been approved.
I would like to know why but so far no explanation has Bern offered and I can't seem to catch a mod online. (Not a dig at the mods, I'm sure it's just timing)

Negative reviews don't go down well as they are bad for business. I had a bad experience 2 months ago and my review was deleted we do pay the piper and he who does calls the tunes

In response to a negative review (or a grey or n/a one) some escorts will fight fire with fire by leaving a comment., aka the client wasn't clean, or the escort says she wasn't working that time/day, or in the case of a n/a, that the client only rang once and her phone wasn't nearby.
Sometimes it's true no doubt and sometimes a ploy.Of course many never bother commenting either.
I wouldn't lose much sleep one way or another.

It happens. Some escorts genuinely believe they've done nothing wrong. In cases like that, there's nothing you can do except move on and keep reviewing. Once you establish a substantial list of reviews, escorts looking for a reference when you make a booking will look more favourably on you than if you stop reviewing because of a bad review.

I've one grey review where I said the lady wasn't the most professional or discrete in the world, and she left a rather incoherent comment. Most people will see it for what it is: deflection.

I have only left 2 negative reviews (I have been visiting escorts about 8 times a year for 6 or so years). One was about timing when it was probably more to do with bad directions (which may well have been due to the escort not knowing Dublin) and I did visit that escort later and was very happy (and said so). The other one was because the escort couldn't speak English despite saying 'good English' and I enjoy horny chat. That review wasn't published and within a few hours the escort had opted out of the review system. I appreciate that the escorts are the paying customers on this site. However the review system is an excellent way for genuine punters to recommend value for money escorts and make the site better for both escorts and punters. I wouldn't visit an escort who didn't allow reviews.

To be honest it happened to me to write a bad review and later on regret it and just want to giver a chance again and I couldn't delete it any longer. But the fact is that if you enter a new review for the same girl the old review will be replaced with the new one.
