I am fairly sure when the sex worker and sex work hating law is introduced here in The Republic, most probably early next year, it will be more severe than in Northern Ireland!:mad::mad:

If they see any posts which detail methods by which Swedish-style Legislation can be made difficult to enforce, said posts will be used when drafting Legislation (or amendments to existing Legislation) which can be used to make Swedish-style Legislation even more severe.

Your point is taken and my suggestions above can be implemented easily as they would be impossible to police even if we turn back to The North Korea of sex again!
I am thinking worse case scenario, where the nut jobs get their way completely as per proposals already recommended! And want to help consensual adults out! Expect the Southern version of this insane law to be definitely more severe than The Northern insane version and that one comes from a society where savage atrocities were committed and people speak of their being 2 communities, it's so outside the tent of normality!
I have other ideas also, which I keep stum about!
RE the TORLER nutters spending more time on this site than most punters, it kind of dovetails with the notion that the most dangerous homophobes have been shown in experiments to be the most turned on by Gay Porn! Unfortunately it is unlikely to be the case in reality, they may pretend that a sex worker has been decriminalised when in reality a sex worker in almost every situation except in street solicitation and more than 2 working from the same apartment are fully decriminalised as it stands!
If you have a look at the recommendations of the Justice committee in the area last year - it's real frothing at the mouth stuff -

Legally equate anybody downloading a site such as this one as a child molester downloading scenes of children being raped! This would impact on sex workers using site such as this for healthy and safety recommendations
Prosecuting any landlord or hotel owner as living under immoral earnings if their premises is used for commercial sex encounters - thus forcing all sex workers to ply their trade on the streets!
These type of laws, especially if there's even a hint of any of those insane beyond belief proposals, are about making sex workers suffer beyond believe and far more than any punter!

TORLERS fight extremely dirty and lie to the last, produce fake reformed sex workers out of hats who were a convicted brothel keeper and another whom nobody at the time she claimed to be working on the streets with a cocaine habit, who actually did work those streets has the slightest recollection off and all these women knew each other well!
The recommendations of the insane justice committee in the area were so extreme it would give us if implemented (it's largely unconstitutional, despite having a so called constitutional expert in Bacik on it) would give us the most vicious anti sex work and anti sex worker laws in the world outside of countries that actually execute sex workers and this need to be pointed out to the world!

Whatsapp is easy to crack. A SIM needs a court order, I think. In NI and UK wire-tapping has serious issues with data protection. Check ROI laws.

The Southern Irish police wouldn't have the ability to bug large numbers of phones, what has been proposed as per recommendations of the insane JOC is disable phone numbers which are known to be used for the purposes of prostitution or allow the authorities to use them for honey traps! Really disgusting stuff, policing consenting adults engaging with each other in private, truly disgusting and immoral!:mad:
They don't need to bug phones. It's all about the metadata, content takes too much time, manpower & effort to listen to.
Connections, locations and timings give you all the info you need. It can be processed automatically, and most of it can be got by the cops from the phone operators for the asking. They may not even need warrants.
Content is a smokescreen. It's all about the data, and has been for at least a decade.

Lad's n Gal's, in my opinion don't worry. Genuine escorts and punters will survive no matter what the religious bigots (Egit's) think. The underlying drive is the religious moral agenda bit and not feminism as they like to portray (hide under an umbrella) or safety for the girls for that matter. It's a moral war based on their faith and they don't care about peoples happiness. After all, real happiness is only for heaven!. They seem more interested in spoiling things for the genuine punter/escort than any real exploitation. Sex should not be fun! We all know how the religious love to defend exploitation don't we Yeh!. They see independent adult amicable relationships as exploitation once money is involved. If it becomes law it will be temporary and while temporally in existence it will be easily got around for the serious independent punter (including members of an Garda) and escorts. I'm 17 years at this game and I am not worried at all. I haven't seen the exploitation they are so concerned about. I have met so many lovely women and I believe most would think I'm a lovely man. The bigots may win a battle but not a war against individual freedom. It’s a joke in my view and will be got around by most apart from the naive and when the legislators cop on it will be reversed in time :-)
Safest way to punt if this stupid law gets approved is a Ryanair flight to Germany. Any major town has plenty of offerings for every taste and budget.
Even better if it is a business trip then ask for a vat receipt and claim the cost back as entertainment expenses!
