I am just back from the cinema.I am as big a Bond fan as anyone but that was the biggest load of shite I have ever seen.Everything that we love about Bond is gone.The action scenes were good the plane scene comes to mind but that is what you expect from a big budget film.There was hardly any plot at all and it was generally shit.I know most of you will go to see it just because it is Bond but dont get your hopes up...
I fell asleep watching Casino Royale, so I decided to give this ones a miss :(

I have to descent here, I just love Daniel Craig as the new Bond! He is so edgy and hard, I like the roughness he has brought to the character. And seriously ladies, have the other bond films really had that much of a plot? I mean in reality it is just a serious string of one liners strung together. The appeal has always been for the Guys-the toys and gadgets, the Girls-being the Bond-girl. Just my two cents. Kisses Violette

i heard the new bond is rubbish so i'll probably wait to download it now, although in fairness i don't know if there has been a really good bond film. none of the recent ones have been a patch on the jason bourne trilogy. and i think i only liked the old ones cos i was 10 years old.
still, i have to admit that i really think daniel craig is a pretty cool bond. he certainly has a more edgier look about him. i always thought brosnan looked a bit poncey for the role.

Craig is the best Bond in my opinion and I actually thought he was very good in Casino Royal but this one was pure shite and it has nothing to do with Craig.The plot is dreadful and it is very boring....Bournes are the much better Ultimatum being my favourite..I thought Bond was back on track...This time there were no one liners gadgets ms moneypenny etc etc
I used to enjoy the Bond films, but that Casino Royale really didn't do it for me...
I don't know, maybe as I get older my demands get higher...
I know I'm like that in the bedroom now :eek:

Timothy Dalton was my favourite, though. He looked the part, and looked dangerous enough to be able to kill some fucker for looking at him sideways.

I have heard feet, hands, palms, fingers, and god knows what other extremity, and it is all bollocks. Except I hope in Daniel Craig's case. He is so adorable. Big ears and all. :p

Thanks for the warning,I wont bust a gut going to see it.
I still think Sean Connery was the best bond ever.I just love his voice.I once met his look a like at a function and he was gorgeous.But for me nothing beats a sophisticated,sexy,older man.But I must admit the new bond is a 9 our of 10 also.

I watched it last weekend, BORING like Hell... not a real 007 movie... where are Roger Moore or Sean Connery??? On their movies there was no technology trikery but they could take you on a real flydream!!! This new bond movies, is more like a video game, no real movie at all... an insult to the real 007s Roger Moore and Sean Connery. I left 15 minutes before the end, was hungry...
But for me nothing beats a sophisticated,sexy,older man.

I can also picture the two first movies: Muffin Royal, and Quantum of Muffins :D, now we need Money Penny and the one in charge of the gadgets and special weapons, any volunteers?
