It would give Spurs a chance to bring in some good players provided the money is spent wisely , good or great as Bale is he is only one player and if he is injured Spurs suffer bigtime.
It's mad money .... There's no way Bale's agent would turn down that offer, a big loss for spurs a replacement would be hard to find but with 80 mil you could buy 4 or 5 top class players

Yes he will....he just won't be given a NET 50M to spend. I am reading that it is what we earn from sales plus 20M in the kitty.

Exactly Clyde, you could buy 3 or 4 top class players and have a real go at the league, never mind the champions league. Theres no I in team, Spurs would be better off with several top players rather then relying on bales magic IMO
