...if they continue to exclude first hand evidence from sex workers and clients in favour of hearsay from our adversaries and exploiters?

Seems to me that should be possible:

Surely if hearsay is inadmissable in a court of law it should be inadmissable in a government committee?

I would honestly be prepared to sex sexual services again to contribute money to this, not least because if the point is won, it will be the VERY LAST TIME any NGO gets to override and misrepresent it's target group to a Government Committee...and that, in my opinion is a cause worth dying for, let alone just selling sex to pay for...

Anyone with me on that?

Can we get the ball rolling this week?

Thank you LaBelle for continuing to fight our cause, will support you in what ever way you think is best to get a favourable outcome to this proposed ridiculeous leglistation,
Wish this Government would concentrate on what is vitally important for this Country.

I also think that this proposed legislation needs to be looked at as to my mind it is unconstitutional.

How can one person, in a two party transaction, be deemed a criminal, especially when the innocent party
initiated the transaction. That is not compatible to all persons to be treated equally.
Tried to find the quote in the constitution but, wow, what a lot of reading, so will take others word that that is so.
But if any one knows the article number I'd like to know.

It is also unconstitutional (as is the '93 act) any time it aims to decrease the time a mother has available to raise her children properly (archaic, it SHOULD be "parent" but still in constitution).

...and what happens to a mother when you make it impossible for her to make her income in the few hours a week (that can be after bedtime and during school hours) that she chooses. :)

If the Swedish government wasn't infested with radical feminists we wouldn't have this problem - time to call RentoKil.

I like the way you are thinking Labelle.:) We need Banjaxed and Brock to advise or anyone else with knowledge of these matters - and the cost implications, not to mention anonymity of the parties taking the case.

I'm afraid I won't be prepared to sell sex to raise money for this - as I'm shite at sex !!!!!:p (Which is why I started seeing escorts in the first place!!:D).

But I would be willing to forego an appointment and pass on the usual fee I would have paid.

You know who i'd lOVVVVVVVEEEEEE to get to appear : Dr Brooke Magnanti? Anyone reading her twitters on the JOC - She's has already said she'd willingly appear if she got enough notice and invitation beforehand ....and she meets the 'sex worker' criteria!
