To get help from Guardi and Ruhama (or any other organization of that nature) escorts / prostitutes must say they are victims otherwise nobody will help.
Staying in a Garda Station where options are giving if the prostitute says she is a victim , hard not to say it to get the best deal.
If anyone thinks those "saved" prostitutes go to their home country and start a new fresh start far away from this business ... very very wrong!
If those person are out of the country and get into prostitution it is for a reason , which will not go away because Guardi or Ruhama convinced them to feel sorry for themselves and they can do much better..
Usually girls come from poor countries. Staying and working here for 2 years or more, back home things change in worst not in better, in this 2 years time..
How possible can you think the ladies will go home and start to work in tescos for less money than they where making here from prostitution , is beyond me ..

For me this has been a rotten 24 hours of looking at this kind of systemic misrepresentation and corruption and it's effects on the the victims. I feel surrounded and suffocated by it to be honest, as if you cut down one rotten limb, 5 more grow in it's place and morality and truth get decided by paid propaganda dishonestly manipulating a consensus.
Your post restores my faith that "somewhere in the spirit of man" the really *IS* a capacity to be better than that.
There *is* one, very simple reason why many women get into sex work, and that is because, in their life circumstance, it genuinely *is* the best they can do for themselves at that time, and, in taking it away you only make things far worse for them, sometimes horribly so.
That was the case for me, and I know it is the case (and often far less selfishly) for many migrant women.
There is a (very balanced) documentary on trafficking in Eastern Europe where the girl who is rescued chooses to go back at the end, because they lived too near chernobyl, and if she doesn't her kid brother will die...she hates selling sex, but freely and gladly goes back to give her brother a few more years. (and if she feels ashamed of making a sacrifice like that she really DOES need help!)
What would this tosser do with her mind? Convince her that it is healthier to watch her brother die in untreated agony than have the love and pride to sell sex to save him?
There is a wicked thought at the back of my mind...what say you and me volunteer for "reprogramming"?
