Five Reasons Buying Sex is Moral

It is maybe the biggest question in the whole of the sex industry. Namely, is it moral to pay for sex? Those who dislike sex work will tell you it isn’t, and as we have seen in a number of countries, there is a push to make buying sex illegal.

Twenty pound banknotes in man's hands

However, when you speak to sex workers you will get a different view. As a result, here are five reasons why it is indeed moral to pay for sex.

Here goes!

1) The Sex Workers Want You To

The vast majority of sex workers are there by choice and are doing things as a job. Therefore they want to be paid. If you don’t pay to meet them they will be skint. So remember, they want you there.

Of course there will be occasions someone is working against their will. Though it is never proof, there are things you could look out for. Not knowing the native language, looking drunk or high, coming across as miserable, these are all things are possible signs. Paying for sex after spotting one or more of these things is immoral, but as I said these are the exceptions to the rule.

2) You Aren’t a Desperate Loser

This has been the mantra of people who dislike sex work, but in the end, it isn’t true. Millions of men use sex workers, and they come in every shape, size and social class. Don’t worry about being the only person to do it, it is more common than you think!

3) It Beats Emotionally Manipulating Non Sex Workers

Sex workers know what they are there for, and that is sex. You don’t have to impress them, take them on a date ect. All you need to do is pay your cash and act nicely.

However, when you want see women in the real world, you have to pretend you care about what they have to say, and act like you aren’t just using them for sex. This can lead to a lot of heartache. Sex workers don’t want that emotional connection so no-one gets hurt.

4) Sex Workers Aren’t Going To Get Attached

To continue on the last point, you won’t have any confusion over boundaries, and there won’t be a woman thinking she is in a relationship when she isn’t. Forget ‘Pretty Woman;, it is bollocks!

5) It is Safe

You may have this picture of burly doormen or seedy pimps at the property you are going to visit just like ‘Taxi Driver’ but this is something of a fantasy. Instead you will have an independent woman working and trying to create a happy, safe environment for the client. Therefore you aren’t going to enter some sort of hornets nest where you are going to have to fight for survival. Relax and enjoy it.

So there we go. Paying for sex is certainly moral. Don’t let anyone with an agenda try telling you otherwise.
