I am really not sure if the following story is funny, horrific, or somewhere in-between. An Uber passenger from Chicago got a ride to remember after his driver began receiving a blowjob during his journey.
Aner Manuel claims he was in the uber for two miles whilst a drugged up prostitute was giving oral to the guy.
Shocking Footage
The shocked customer posted footage of the ‘most dangerous and inappropriate ride ever’ on social media after the incident which took place around 3am on July 17.
At the start of the video, the woman is seen kissing the guy, causing him to take his eyes off the road. However, after that it gets worse when she starts giving him a blowjob, all the while the passenger in the back sits in shock whilst filming the incident on Snapchat.
It is only when Uber offered him $10 dollars as compensation for this performance that he posted it online to ‘encourage’ them to respond appropriately.
He wrote: “As I approached my Uber, I noticed there was a passenger in the front seat. I double checked to make sure I didn’t select UberPool, and then approached the car.
“I assumed it may have been a family member of some sort. As we pulled off the female in the front (who was clearly on drugs) attempted to open the door and could not even sit straight as the vehicle was in motion.”
Manuel continued: ‘She then began to grope him and grab him. They began to kiss and she began loosening his belt.
“As we got further and further from my pickup location I had no idea where I was, so I had to stay in the car. She then proceeded to perform oral sex.
“This was my last straw. I asked the driver to drop me off. Since I’ve contacted Uber and they refunded me for trip and gave me a “$10 credit”.
“They’ve seen this video and are still “investigating”. They have been extremely bad at answering any messages I’ve sent, and I demand something gets done. This is not okay!”
An Uber spokesperson said in an email to the DailyMail.com: ‘The behavior of this former driver is appalling and is not tolerated on the Uber app.
“As soon as this situation was reported to us, we immediately removed this driver’s access.”
Bad Reaction
Needless to say, this hasn’t gone down well on social media. It is just the latest scandal to hit the company, following the resignation of ex-CEO Travis Kalanick in June.
We have seen sexism and bullying within the company, as well as a Department of Justice probe into the way the company operates. However, despite the bad publicity, I never expected to see a driver get a blowjob. I know full well that I wouldn’t be impressed. However, since it didn’t happen to me, I feel entitled to laugh about the subject. Who in their right mind would think that was a good idea while a passenger was in the cab? Maybe that is the point, he wasn’t in his right mind!
It certainly won’t stop me using an uber on a Saturday night, but maybe, just maybe, they should start checking their drivers out a bit more.
