It is so messed up, it is actually funny. The story of a teacher in Arkansas who accidentally showed a sex tape of herself to students in her class is one of those stories you just couldn’t make up.
The unnamed female teacher said the accident happened when the video got mixed up in her lesson plan. She later admitted her mistake and phoned all the parents of her students to apologise.
Still, many parents are unhappy with a perceived lack of action that has been taken by the school district authorities in Little Rock, Arkansas since the incident occurred.
‘Apologetic’
Nicholas Tolerson, whose son was in the class, said although he had sympathy for the “apologetic” teacher, he wants accountability.
“She was performing sex acts. My concern is with him being in that environment. I want something done. My heart goes out to not only my son, but other kids in the classroom.”
I’m not sure Mr Tolerson should worry too much. His young son was undoubtedly quite happy with the turn of events. I know that, at his age, I would have been.
School officials have that the teacher admitted she showed the inappropriate video in class by mistake and said the incident is currently under investigation.
The school district said it is determining what disciplinary action should be taken against the teacher, as well as what can to be done to prevent this happening again in the future.
Compensation Culture
To be fair, I’m not sure what Mr Tolerson’s problem is. The teacher has apologised, and at the risk of sounding a bit glib, she will be a damn site more crestfallen about what happened than any of her students.
I long for the day when people could make a mistake and then apologise. Everyone could then learn from the incident and move on.
These days everyone seems to want ‘accountability’, which is shorthand for having someone fired, or even better, compensation.
We all know what happened here. Some unfortunate teacher accidentally showed a few seconds of herself in action. The class burst out laughing (probably not stopping for a few hours) and the red faced teacher turned the video off.
Should this really be damaging her career? I’m a father myself, and I know full well there are a lot worse things a teacher could be doing with damages students, other than accidentally showing videos of herself getting down and dirty.
A Real Teacher Fantasy
Just a sidenote; I bet some of the young lads will have a teacher fantasy for the rest of their adult lives. I have no idea what the Arkansas escort situation is like, but if this incident took place in Belfast, then I could imagine the Belfast escorts getting a lot of requests for roleplay sessions in a few years.
