Stealthing – The New, Sick, and Extremely Dangerous Sex Practice

Here at Escort Ireland, we are a huge supporter of safe sex. We all know the issues with not using a condom, STI’s, unwanted pregnancies, it really is a stupid. Still, there are people who choose to ignore this advice, and to be fair, if they do that it is up to them, they can be held responsible for the consequences. However, have you heard about the new craze called ‘stealthing’ where guys take off their condom without the other person knowing? Sadly I am not joking.

According the the ‘Columbia Journal of Gender and Law’, this stupid and dangerous practice is on the rise.

Sexual Assault

Lead author Laura Brodsky says that although the law doesn’t cover this practice at the moment, it should be treated as a form of sexual assault.

Kathleen Kempke, with the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, says she’s aware of the trend.

As far as the crisis center is concerned, a person who feels violated is a victim, she said.

“And they deserve the same kind of services and support that a victim that is raped by a stranger or a raped by an acquaintance would get,” said Kempke.

The study also pointed to a number of online forums where users encourage each other to do it in an effort to ‘spread their seed’. To be fair, that goes beyond sick.

Brodsky concludes that new protections should be in place for those who are victims of the practice.

“Ultimately, a new tort for “stealthing” is necessary both to provide victims with a more viable cause of action and to reflect better the harms wrought by nonconsensual condom removal,” she said in the paper.

The problem you will have with making this a legal issue is proof. As you have started the sexual encounter in a consensual manner, actually proving that somewhere along the way this became a crime is going to be difficult. In all criminal cases, reasonable doubt means an aquittal. It wouldn’t take Perry Mason to come up with a defence that the condom coming off was an accident.

However, it will leave this one up to the legal experts, which despite watching every episode of ‘A Touch of Frost’, I am not part of that group

What I will say is that whoever thinks of doing this has zero respect for the person they are with. They are putting them in real danger. The fact that they are putting themselves in danger also would make them stand up and take attention, you would think. But no.

Take Care

You may ask why I wrote this article. Am I in danger of actually giving people ideas? People remember the old ‘World in Action’ documentary in the UK in regard to glue sniffing. It arguably taught people about glue sniffing and cases sky-rocketed.

Well no, not in this case. This is actually happening. So all women and men on our site need to be extra vigilant when they are engaging in a sexual encounter. That is the only way to make sure that it doesn’t end up happening to you.

Some people really are scum. Be aware of them.
