If you have ever been curious about which countries are the best at sex then the good news is that you now have the answer! An online dating site recently conducted a survey to discover which countries were reportedly the best, and worst, at sex.
These sex ratings tell us just how people feel about sex around the world, and which countries are really hitting the spot. Curious about where you should book your next holiday? This might just tell you.
Saucy Dates
Saucy Dates is an online dating site with a huge number of users. They were curious about which countries were having the hottest sex, and which were stuck with lukewarm sex instead.
They had a short survey for their members to complete, and when they results were in they announced them, showing which countries were getting the highest sex ratings of all. The questions they asked were pretty simple, from “how good was the last sex you had?” to “where was the country of origin of the last person you slept with?”
They already had information on gender and sexuality, thanks to their site, and so they compiled the results from 22,753 members to show us which countries were really having the hottest sex.
Sex ratings for men
The results for men might surprise you. When the results were put together, countries were given a ranking out of ten based on the overall results. The best countries get the higher numbers, while the worst countries sit further down the list.
With 8/10 we have Australia, South Africa, and the United States. It seems that these are the countries where people are really impressing their partner in the bedroom! Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, and Spain also ranked highly with 7/10.
The United Kingdom was further down the list with 6/10, but bringing up the year was New Zealand. It seems that, while the country is known for the beautiful scenery we see in the Lord of the Rings films, it isn’t known for great sex!
Sex ratings for women
When it came to the results for women, they didn’t seem to match the sex ratings for men. We were expecting similar answers between the numbers given to the countries, but there are actually plenty of differences!
With 8/10 we have Canada, France, Italy, and the United States. This is an improvement for Canada, France, and Italy, as they only received 7/10 on the sex ratings for men. Germany, India, South Africa, and the United Kingdom get 7/10, showing big differences between the other rankings!
At the bottom of the list with 6/10 is New Zealand, as it was on the men’s rankings, but it is also joined by Spain and, surprisingly, Australia! So while Australian men might be the best in bed, it seems that the women don’t compare to Canadian lovers.
Where would Ireland sit?
The list, unfortunately, does not include Ireland. Considering studies have previously shown that Ireland is the sexiest place, this is pretty surprising!
