In rather bizarre news, a drunk couple continued to have sex in a Leeds park even after they were told that the police had been called.
The unidentified couple were caught in Roundhay Park on Sunday, at a time when there were children nearby.
Angry Parents
One angry parent went over to the couple and slapped the man, telling them to stop what they were doing.
Witnesses began recording the pair and one woman can be heard telling police over the phone that she had called them an hour ago, but as of yet no-one had turned up.
She went on to state that they were ‘in the middle of loads of kids playing cricket’, adding ‘they’re at it again’ and ‘it’s like the fifth time now’.
Police didn’t arrive until 46 minutes after the first call on Sunday. By the time they arrived at 1.55pm the couple were no longer there.
Police Reaction
West Yorkshire Police said: ‘Officers saw the suspects’ vehicle and pulled it over.
“A woman was arrested and has been reported for summons for driving while over the limit and is due in court on August 24.
“Inquiries remain ongoing into the incident at Roundhay Park and witnesses continue to be contacted.
“Each call is prioritised based on threat, harm and risk to the public.”
Well, I don’t know what to say. They just seem like a pair of jerks, and the guy did well not to get leathered to be fair!
