Every day it seems like a different celebrity is abusing the sacrament of their celebrity status. Just like a sleazy priest, celebrities today are being caught in sex scandals that defy the amount of respect the masses initially gave them. It seems as though the people that we look up to are just as capable of becoming the person that we look down upon. Perhaps then they were never gods, just mortals with really good lighting.
It feels like a couple days ago, it was actor and comedian Bill Cosby that had allegations brought against him for drugging and raping dozens of women. Last week, it was England footballer Adam Johnson that was just sentenced to six years for grooming and sexually assaulting a 15 year old. Today, it’s Madonna as she exposed a breast of a 17-year-old fan on stage in Brisbane recently. Like many celebrities she has managed to slip through a celebrity status loophole where the court of law nor their conscience will ever see the error of their ways.
Madonna has been literally raging the road on her seven-month Rebel Heart World Tour where she’s rocked 80+ shows in over 20 countries. While performing the song ‘Unapologetic Bitch,’ this dynamite diva pulls onto the stage actors, comedians, fans, musicians and even one time, a news anchor for a ‘special dance.’ On Thursday night at a concert in Brisbane, Madonna had 17-year-old Josephine Georgiou brought onto the stage.
Chatting to the crowd about her sexy fan she said, “She’s the kind of girl that you just want to slap on the ass and pull…” She then tugged on the nipple ring corset of the 17-year-old fan, pulling it down and exposing one of her underage breasts.
Madonna touches someone else’s breast but it’s cool because, “Bitch, she’s Madonna!”
Let’s be real, Madonna has always made headlines crossing many a ‘Borderline’ through out her career. Yet this feminist rock star just basically sexually objectified and exposed a child. Let’s overlook that (a) this 17-year-old fan was dressed like a Victoria Secret model (b) looked like a consenting adult at a concert and (c) is almost an adult in the eyes of the law.
The fact is if Madonna exposed her own breast that would pose no problem. Yet calling out this 17-year-old as a sex object before ripping off her corset? Hot damn! That places Madonna in dangerous waters in precarious times especially since it’s a crime in Australia to touch someone without their consent!
This is the latest in a series of bizarre behavior from the Like-a-Virgin-Queen-of-Pop. The rock star has been starting her performances hours late quipping, ‘It’s you people that get here early, that’s the problem!’ Then there’s been speculation that she’s drinking alcohol on stage as well as allegations that she’s mumbling lyrics, lip syncing and stumbling during choreography. In one show recently she begged, “Someone please fuck me,” while swigging from a fan’s hip flask.

When asked how the teenager felt about having her breast exposed she was totally chill. “Ah, it was nothing to me. It was so nothing. It was just a funny little slip-up that was it. If anything it was a bonding moment with Madonna,” she said. Who’s that girl? Oh, Josephine Georgiou? Just a ‘True Blue’ fan who’s cool with Madonna appraising her ‘Body Shop’ and exposing her “Candy Shop’!
Even her mom was cool with it! So cool that she actually let her daughter BORROW that nipple ring leather corset for the concert. On social media, Josephine’s mother went out to proclaim, “So Madonna just spanked my daughter! So proud!” She also posted the video of the event and clarified, “Just so everyone knows, Josephine wasn’t at all ‘humiliated’ like the media is reporting. She was thrilled to bits and had the time of her life!”
But real talk, ‘Rebel Heart’ Josephine Georgiou is only 17-years-old. Although Australian law deems it a crime to touch someone indecently without their consent, Josephine assures that she would never sue the pop star. “Seriously why would I sue Madonna for the best moment of my life?” Star struck Josephine exclaimed.
The question begs to be asked, ‘What if Madonna was a male performer and this ‘accident’ occurred?’ Wouldn’t that be grounds for a sexual harassment law suit? Why do some celebrities get off so easy while others have to face hard time for doing the exact same thing? Is there a double standard for Madonna that exists because she’s Madonna?
Madonna may sing ‘This used to be my playground,’ but she sure does act like it still is!
The answer may be as simple as Josephine’s mum insistent statement, “Well it wasn’t another man and it wasn’t another girl, it was Madonna and my daughter!” Her mum confirms that she raised her daughter to be a fierce feminist. Fact: How she couldn’t see that her daughter was sexually objectify would astound 4 out of 5 super fem-feminists! “This is her unique experience and she wasn’t upset about it. It’s something that she’ll probably cherish for the rest of her life.” Like a prayer, the 17-year-olds star struck mum sticks up for the superstar and her daughter.
Madonna tugged at the nipple ring on Josephine’s leather corset a couple times while objectifying the teens body to the crowd. All of which was consensual and cool, the teen assures. But one more playful tug on the 17-year-olds rebel heart exposed her boob. She reveals through a television interview, “It was so fine. Like, it was nothing. It was not a big deal. It’s just my boob, it’s just a part of my body.”
The iconic superstar said, “Oh shit. Oh sorry, sexual harassment.” The Queen of Pop proceeded to invite the Gold Coast-based model and aspiring actress to, “do the same to me if you like…you want to make my hole big again?’ She then gestured to her nether regions. Someone quick! Douse this material girl with Holy Water, she’s on fire!
Josephine wants the media to know, “It was seriously, nothing. I didn’t think of it until everyone totally freaked out about it. It’s so ridiculous to me that I’m on TV for having a breast!’ Well put Josephine and do take a bow! Yet what you may not be aware of is the pandemic of celebrities that have been severely abusing their status and sexually compromising their adoring fans. So thanks for justifying your position but believe it or not, this disregard for boundaries is a symptom of being a superstar and being star struck.

In regards to the incident in Brisbane, no charges were filed. Another celebrity has slipped through the celebrity loop evading crime and punishment. Maybe it’s because she’s a woman. Maybe it’s because she’s a superstar. Maybe fans give celebrities way too much respect, leniency and mercy. Perhaps it’s musical brainwashing as the whole world is singing “Bitch, I’m Madonna.” Unfortunately, the song like the attitude toward being on permanent ‘Holiday’ is cute until it crosses the ‘Borderline’ and then, it just isn’t.
