A student in Florida has been banned from marching in his graduation ceremony after drawing a giant penis on the schools playing field.
Officials first noticed the huge willy while setting up for graduation, which was scheduled to take place on the football field. Principal Toni-Ann Noyes was unsurprisingly unimpressed and went on a mission to find out who did it.
Well, she got her answer and has acted in the manner that would be expected.
‘Very Disappointed’
It seems that the teen prankster used weedkiller to draw the penis on the field. Workers have since used green spray paint in an attempt to cover up the rude illustration.
Still, the Principal remains unimpressed.
“I was very disappointed that someone would do this,” she told the Tampa Bay Times.
The family of the student are apparently liable for any permanent damage to the playing field, so I imagine he is in the doghouse at home as well as at his soon to be former school.
Call me a bit of a softy, but I have to admit, I always feel a bit sorry for these kids who commit these pranks and get stung more than they could have possibly envisaged.
There was a story last month, several high school seniors in Tennessee were given criminal charges after allegedly starting a food fight in their dinner hall on “Taco Day.” Yeah, they probably shouldn’t have done it, but why put something on their record that will stay with them forever?
Social Media
The main issue is that, in the days of social media, these pranks have got to be so big that they are a hit on the internet. And as we know, the bigger these pranks are, the more people they could offend, and the more they could be to venture into the realms of criminality.
The parents of all kids these days need to have chat with them, and make them fully are of the consequences of their actions.
It seems the only way to make sure these kids don’t get into trouble for what they think it just a humorous joke.
