An adventurous American exchange student in Germany has come to worldwide attention after getting trapped in a giant stone vagina.

Yes, you heard that right. Five emergency service vehicles and over 20 fireman had to help the rather daft lad after he got stuck in the marble carving in Tübingen, Germany on Friday afternoon.

Apparently he was doing it as a dare.

Needless to say, this became extremely popular on Imgur.

Erick Guzman who witnessed the incident posted: “I was there!!! He just wanted to take a funny picture.

“The fire department was not really amused, and he was really embarrassed.”

The sculpture Pi-Chacán, by Peruvian artist Fernando de la Jara, has been located at the town’s university for around 13 years.

It has to be said, this will be a great story for when he gets back. Getting trapped in a stone vagina is truly something that can only happen when you are a student!
