I really hate the compensation culture that we have today. Some moron falls down a hole in the street that they should have seen if they were only walking with their bloody eyes open, and they end up getting thousands of pounds out of the insurance companies. Actually they get it out of me and you when our premiums go up, but that seems to be missed.

This loathing of people who want something for nothing is one of the reasons I found this particular story from Australia rather amusing.

An Australian civil servant has lost her bid for compensation from an injury which occurred whilst she was having sex on a work trip.

The woman injured herself whilst she was going at it in a motel with a colleague. They certainly succeeded in making the earth move when a light fitting fell on top of them. The lady suffered damage to her nose, mouth, tooth and psychological trauma.

She originally won compensation from government insurer Comcare, but the High Court overruled the judgement, saying the woman’s employer had not encouraged her to engage in the activity that led to the injury.

The woman in question has no further right to appeal and the case is now dead. Justice is served.

It did get me thinking though. If this lady was energetic enough to cause a light fitting to fall off the wall, she must be pretty damn good. I wonder if that was discussed in the judges chambers when they were debating the verdict?

This is not an issue when you visit the Belfast escorts, who make sure that their apartments or hotels are warm and hospitable for any visitor.

It would certainly be interesting to see any lady who can do that much damage!
