He is in his late 20's/early 30's
She had lots of contact with him prior to her visit to Dublin by email
He asked about being disabled (apparently had a sports accident then an operation went wrong)
When she finally booked a Dublin tour she contacted him

Booked the appointment and arrived buy taxi to his place
He was pleasant but had a problem with getting the money due to him not being able to get out in his chair. He said that his brother was on his way over and would be here at the end of the appointment to pay her.
No POINTS FOR TELLING HER HOW SILLY THAT WAS!

Brother was held up....she waited a long while and even spoke to the supposed "brother"
Agreed to come back or to let the brother drop the cash into her hotel that evening.

This went on to the point that he even promised a Western Union Transfer AND he knew all of her local branches!!

This sounds to me like a well planned con and she couldn't feel any worse than she does!

What he did was commiting a crime and the police are following it all up.

It looks at disabled people in a bad light and makes me think he is a guy with a huge chip because of whats happened to him.

JUST WATCH OUT FOR HIM AND SPREAD THE WORD!

I'm sorry your friend has had this trouble but I and many others have warned escorts both on these boards and in the chat room about the antics of 2 people on these boards, NEDRIX being the worst of the 2 and 50 CENT being the other one. Both of these wankers are in wheelchairs and Nedrix has even bragged about his antics in the chat room, if it was Nedrix with the escort it most likely was 50 Cent playing the role of the brother or the other way around!!
What you have described is exactly how I was told he conned other escorts and I believe on the other site in the escorts section and possible on this site also there is a warning about these 2.
