I dont see an issue with having a database that gives the phone numbers of bad clients, but surely any client that had threatened or attacked an escort is hardly likely to carry on using the same number, based on this there really is no real way of identifying a bad client. What with all the free sims on offer these days and so many clients using a different sim for punting only, how will it ever work?

If anything there should be a database for SAFE CLIENTS. Why not set up a database for clients that are genuine and safe, You could verify that a client is safe by having say 3 escorts verify that client. It would be similar to when one escort might ask for a reference from another escort they have been with to verify they are safe and genuine.

Then if an escort gets a call from a client they can cross reference with the SAFE CLIENTS list, saving the hassle of trying to get in touch with other escorts for references. Then if the said client is not listed on the SAFE CLIENTS list then the escort has to make a reformed decision. Does she take the appointment anyway and just be that extra cautious or does she decide to not go ahead just incase.

Ok the only problem with this idea is how can a client be verified as being SAFE if he is a new punter. He may be very genuine but it might be his first time so he wouldnt have anyone to give him a reference.

This suggestion makes more sense than the bad clients database option. Bad clients/criminals have cause to change their sim cards, good or safe clients don't. A database of safe clients would need to record their mobile numbers as well as the names they use for punting purposes, to avoid miscreants attempting to impersonate them.

The only drawbacks are, that newbie punters are put at a disadvantage as they will not be on the database and cannot provide references, and many escorts who don't have a good command of the English language won't make use of these facilities.

Despite the drawbacks, this is an option which merits consideration.

I totally agree, but in my opinion with what has happened with me, i would only be seeing guy's ive seen before but as you said what about the new punter's ? I'ts a hot potato! but us girl's have to look after ourselve's to?

in northern ireland and scotland i seem to think we have a lot more outcalls so at least the girls can post the addresses in ireland i dont think a punter will use his own phone anyway he just probably uses a walk and talk so in my opinion the whole data base is pointless now dont get me wrong the majority of us all here love a punt after a hard week we go in have the crack and leave (pardon the pun) but a man that goes in to attack a girl punter or not is a rare breed they will attack women working girl or not they are sick in the head so in my opinion they will think it out so what are the girls to do guys

It is easy to renew phone numbers but many of these buggers are too dense or cocky to do so. I think that it is more important to have a form, like the escort review form, where escorts can put down accurate physical details of threatening or abusive clients along with their phone numbers. This may sound daft but you must remember that these bullies are basically cowards. Profiles can be cross-referenced and different phones can be investigated for records of use. These people are likely to be terrified of any risk of exposure and the knowledge that this type of detailed description of themselves and their phones could exist would help to put manners on many of them.
I do not see an escort reporting a client because of a bad review. It would look too obvious. The chances are that the client will have reviews of other escorts who could be asked for confirmation. Besides that, I think that most reviewers are like myself and do not divulge their identity.
I think that some escorts may be inclined to report good clients to keep them away from other escorts but they would not get away with this too often.

Wouldnt said database be a breach of that whole... Data Protection act, let alone privacy, considering punters are also... you know Consumers...

I think the only answer is hidden camera's. If a guy does attact a girl she had all his details and she can decide to go to the garda or publish the photos or video on the web.
