Brenda - I have just now seen this thread. I am so very sorry to hear that this terrible thing happened to you.

Truly there are some awful people in the world. You may take some consolation that such people live lives of fear and terror, with a horrible emptiness at the very core of their being. Ultimately those who are habitually violent encounter someone worse than themselves, as their behaviour ultimately leads to a terrible personal downfall.

Very sorry to hear about your ordeal, Brenda. I hope the police catch him quickly. Why dont you get one of those deafening sirens and a can of pepper spray. A guy who is deaf and blind is no danger to anyone and there might just be an open window closeby.
Would you not consider joining up with someone else and getting interconnecting rooms.
