Murphy has played some amazing snooker to fight his way back into the semi and to go on and win it. It has the makings of a great final alright .

It was some comeback by Murphy to win his SF as in the early sessions Wilson was cruising. No 2nd final appearance in a row for him this year. Great effort by Bingham after coming through qualifying to get within touching distance of his 2nd final but in the end Selby just had that bit extra needed to get over the line.

Murphy takes the first after a tussle with the blue ball . Selby looked good for the 2nd frame but missed the blue, Murphy in with a chance now with the reds well positioned.

Both players have had their chances in the first 2 frames but it's Murphy who takes his chances and leads 2-0.

After 6 frames the players are tied at 3-3. Very tight game with both players making some mistakes but that's understandable.
