Default Two versions of same we site

I got a new laptop a few days ago and since then I have noticed that there are two versions of the E-I Website. The content is exactly the same but the page layouts are completely different. On my old laptop I had the address saved under favourites and just clicked on when needed. For the last few days I have been entering the search on Google Chrome and the version just changes from one log on to another.. Strange !! (Heading was supposed to say 'Two versions of the same website' ) the edit feature won't let me change it ...

    Hi there,

As you had stated, you had gotten a new laptop. This is the reason why the site looks different.
It all falls down to the size of the screen what whatever device that you are using.

In these 2 links, entre a site that you may use and then you will receive many different views of each device that is being used.

    http://app.xrespond.com/
    https://www.responsinator.com/

This is something I had no idea about, but the IT had explained it to me and does make clear sense to why it may look different to what you may have been using before the new laptop.

Hope this explains everything you needed to know.

    Floki.

One version (the best version, IMHO) is also longer to load with a poor connection. And, I as you say, with laptop or desktop, no way to select which one you want.

Windows XP (remember XP? ) defaults to a mobile-type version that has nothing to do with screen size. It loads a lot quicker. Windows 7 and 10 loads very slowly but has a better, ( imho ) layout.

I run XP on an old desktop that isn't worth upgrading. Anti virus and antimalware is fully updated Sometimes it runs rings around windows 10. XP never worked as good untill they stopped updating it.

My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

It is the laptop that is slow, not XP.
