A number of points spring to mind, reviews get ratted because of a suspicion of something untoward, the nature of this business makes it difficult to prove wrongdoing, so there is a grey area there. What if a girl gets a ratted review that isn't justified or just happens to be the same reviewer using the same template from a similar girl or whatever. The old innocent until proven guilty should apply IMHO.

However it should be possible to split the review figure on a girls profile to X number + reviews, X number - reviews and even X Ratted reviews. This would make the information more accessible to new clients etc.

As I have said before, I think the review system is seriously flawed and needs a complete overhaul. I also find the league table somewhat incongruous as it leads to a certain level of competition and clients and escorts working to achieve certain milestones etc. This is, again in my opinion, demeaning to the escorts at the very least.

I really, really, really hope escorts don't review in private
    That's scary

The topic of reviews & the rules will never suit or please everyone. The thing is when there is a system that is & can be used as a publicitiy tool, it will be open to abuse. Some girls will get guys to leave false reviews, some will write reviews of other friends working as escorts, some agencies will write false reviews to promote thier girls & they will also write negative reviews of girls they consider competition working in thier area to put off potential clients.

Unfortunately some escorts get so obessed with the review system & will go to any lengths to get reviews. The reviews matter more to some guys. In my opinion, the main objective of reviews is to prove that the escort is genuine.

Should ratted reviews be included on the profile count, I would say no. For whatever reason, it has been deemed as 'unreliable' unless a girl can prove the appointment did actually take place. I do think the ratted reviews should stay on the profile & not be removed, so if guys check they can see that there's some dodgy reviews.

Are ladies able to dispute reviews that they are not happy with? On other websites there is a facility to dispute reviews. At least then you can bring a balance.

If a review is proven to be fake, as in evidence to show that it could not possibly have happened, then in my mind the reviewer should be banned and the review deleted. It has no place in the review system.

For a lady to be working in Ireland and advertising on this site for say up to a month and not get a geniune review, I would think to be dubious as well. After 4 visits and less than a month worked in the north and the south I have been given 4 reviews. It's not a huge amount and a small percentage of the amount of work I did while over, but it is probably reflective for someone who is new and unknown in the area, as trust builds up.

What I'm saying is... if they are doing their job well, it is only a matter of time before they get good reviews that are trusted, so that should not be a consideration or an issue. If it remains as 0 and their only ratings are ratted, then it is more important to distinguish if that ratted report is due to the client leaving the site, if it is fake or if someone left it to ruin their reputation. In my mind the only one that should be left there is if it is someone who has left the site. On **** the review is left and where the profile name used to be it says something like (member no longer active). At least then the lady gets to keep her review, which should be counted and the member who has left, get's to keep their identity disclosed.

    Hi Kate

Yes there is an escort comment option to discuss or debate reveiws

Reviews are not (to the best of my knowledge) ratted when some one leaves the site (unless they were banned for writing fake reviews)

What do you think should happen in a case where the escort is writing reviews for herself? Or she is involved in getting friends/boyfriends to write them?
On punternet, her reviews are wiped out and she can never receive them again.

Funnily enough I was once accused of doing this on Punternet. I was new to the site and had no idea how the reviews were issued. I had met this lovely young guy in Gloucester, who was so enthusiastic about our booking he asked me if there was anything he could do to say thank you. I told him that a review on PN would be fab and he set about writing one. I live around 40 min from him, so I never actually got to see what he wrote, but after 2 weeks it had still not come up on the site. I asked him if he had written it and he said he had and would check what had happened.

Unfortunately he assumed he had done something wrong and set about writing it again. This was then deemed as a fake and repeated review and he was banned from writing reviews and I was banned from having them written on me. When I asked in the chat room why I had been banned I was told it was because I had written the reports myself and that they both had the same bad spelling in them. Now... I may not be the best speller in the world, but I do have a degree in English and then they tried to say that I had told him what to write, as they knew the IP was not from my address.

After a period of time they came to recognise that I was geniune and that I had not written the review and the total ban was lifted and now I'm just not allowed to have reviews from newbies. Which I think is still a bit unfair, but it is a compromise and now I have 9 reviews on there, I am happy with that.

So... I would say that each case has to be taken on it's merits. If there is 100% conclusive proof that the reviews are fake and made by the Escort herself then it should be a matter for discipline and the same if it is discovered she has got anyone other than a client who has booked her to write it. We all start from 0 and it's not fair on the people that play by the rules if others are allowed to do what they like and possibly take work away from others that don't try and cut corners. Perhaps similar restrictions for people who are in question (ie only allowed reviews by trusted reporters) and then after a 6 month period if there are no further causes for concern give them full entitlement again. If they are seen to do it again after that then a full ban on reviews.

Does that make me sound harsh or fair?

Please forgive my short reply. I think your suggestion is absolutely fair. I don't feel that 'all or nothing' type rules are ever a real solution. There is always middle ground which is often more effective.

Hi to you all,one of my review been ratted because the girl had somehow 2 profiles. I registered years ago just never had the push to post on forum. My review was not fake and I would never write a fake review but yet this one has a rat. Do not see any benefit in ratted reviews in an escort profile.

Well, you did actually review one escort under both her profiles as if they were two separate escorts. I actually thought I'd banned you but it looks like you were missed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
