Default Martin O Neill is back.

Nice to see this great manager back as football is such a difficult arena, I think this guy is inspirational to the game as he lifts all the teams to another level. I wish him a successful tenure at the Stadium of Light.

Yes Martin O'Neil has a great track record of as you say "lifting" a team to new levels.

Other managers who have done something similar in the premier league recently are Harry Rednapp and Kenny Dalgish respectively.

Things are looking up for Sunderland, me thinks!

Agree excellent manager that gets the best out of all his players. Great to see him back.

Good luck to Martin at Sunderland. A true gent who gets the best from players. A few good strikers in the new year transfer market and they will be safe.
