Unknown log in

Hi I looked at my history and found to my surprise I had logged on three weeks ago from United Kingdom, but I never left Southern Ireland, how can this happen

Probably a data breech.

A lot of older accounts seem to be buzzing around trolling the boards after years of no activity.

Just a theory.

The nordie mobile network could explain it alright. I often get "welcome to the UK" texts along the coast north of Drogheda.

1.You either used a VPN when browsing E.I.(in this case the servers are in the U.K.) so that is why it shows uk in the history log.

2.Your account has been hacked (in this case check if you got an e mail previously,(3 weeks ago), if you had been hacked maybe they tried several passwords and when they failed the first time around, that triggered the alarm and a mail was sent to your inbox.) Eventually they got access to your account.

3. someone tried to hack my account last year too, but they couldn't decipher my password.

Be very vigilant and report this to the mods asap.

If you use the same password anywhere else you should change it there as well.
