I've posted very little this year, hardly even look at the site tbh . I have noticed there doesn't seem to anyone in charge, Super Moderator or whatever their title is. I find that disappointing. Savannah was firm but fair and always started threads and interacted with folks on the forum, she made an effort. Damn my memory, I can't remember who was in charge after her . Who's in charge now ?

I have a suggestion, won't be popular with the management I'm sure but I'll share my proposal anyway.

I propose we elect the Super Moderator, assuming there's more than one person interested in the role of course . Willing candidates should be in charge for one month and afterwards we should vote for who we'd like to get the position on a permanent basis.

Anyone else think it might work ?

The idea on paper is a good one, in practice I could see it being a shit show. If someone is nominated for a month and they hold past grudges for any (real or imagined) slight they could cause untold damage in four weeks. People getting banned, threads being deleted etc.... There are loads of members here just itching to get one over on another member. People have been snapping at each other for months.

It would be chaos, fun, but chaotic none the less.

Not really sure if that’d work or not but definitely something has to happen… place is gone to shitte since Sofia left… pissed toddlers would probably do better 🙈😂
