Usually the reviews with yellow stars are spot on. Sometimes I have ignored them ( to my detriment ) and taken the chance on believing the 5 star reviews
There are alot of marvellous ladies that are well reviewed that I have met in the last year some I have reviewed and some i havn't.Some of these experiences have been the best experiences of my life so I wouldn't say that the review system is completely useless. It has it flaws but so do alot of things.I like to read reviews and of course I have bad experiences like every punter. If you treat the ladies with respect and as human beings its get you a long way.

The system is not perfect but it is the best we have. It is not the quantity of reviews that is the deciding factor. I look at the attached photo to see is it from the same set as now.
I pay attention to how many other reviews the reviewer has written. I might look at how many reviews he has given to others that were NOT 5 stars. Nobody is lucky all the time and if all he has written are all 5 star I am less inclined to have faith in him.
If he has reviewed someone I have met I read that review very carefully to see if we agree.
Sometimes I send the reviewer a PM if I want clarification particularly if some element of the reviews is inconsistent. I really love French kissing and if some reviewers say it’s not there I would pm those that made no reference to ask specifically
Sometimes it’s what the reviewer does not say that is the most important.
There are some punters here who have similar tastes to mine and those I pay particular attention to.

As you say Tony the review system has it's flaws BUT it still is an excellent guide when choosing a lady here.
I'm not posting as often as I used to here partly because there is so much negativity. Every other thread is about the review system or how the forum is doomed if EI don't do something to improve things.
Yes use some common sense when choosing. If the reviews are all from reviewers with just 1 or 2 reviews then they are quite likely fake.
If the majority of reviews are from established reviewers that's an excellent indicator.
Escorts are not robots and do have their bad days like any of us . This is not Trip Advisor.
As you said Tony treating the ladies with respect and not as human beings and you'll receive respect.
Treat them as a commodity and you'll get what you deserve.

Look at the number of reviews the person who left the review has. If the escort has loss of reviews from clients with loss of reviews themselves then great. If they have only. A few reviews and all from people with 1-2 reviews themselves then I’d move on
So many wonderful ladies to choose from it should not be an issue
