Does anybody know what happened to those "talked to" by Gardai during Operation Quest

It is not the case of blackmail as such but cutting a deal as they say and this is happening under the Nordic law, it where the sex workers get let off being arrested and get to keep their items and sometimes cash in return for incriminating the client and its not a difficult decision for them

and this is from the guy that stated on here telling us that escorts were safer working with others than working alone and screening, such nonsense but that piece you presented doesn't extend to brothels and you also fail to mention that attacks still continue on sex workers and trafficking is still increasing so maybe you should try and keep up.

The justice system, it is just spin, they playing to the pressure of other countries regarding Trafficking as Ireland got one of the worst records in Europe of tackling it and realise they get no where with this, you do know its not illegal to sell sex, only legal to buy it and for your information brothels are not in this, brothels are still being raided but more emphasis in targeting the client now which was Why I mentioned upping it in previous posts, its all about seeing to be doing something or making a start
The Nordic Law was introduced to target/criminalise clients in the hope of reducing stopping trafficking not to criminalise the sex worker and brothel keeping or sharing was always illegal and remains so today so no one making anything up here at all

Look at the Escorts who work alone on here, fabulous ladies, they know they are safer off on their own where they have total control of what is going on in their place, they can screen in order to keep themselves much safer which you cant do properly with sharing with others and also they keep their clients safer too, you wont get guards putting their places under surveillance and its these escorts who deserve total support from clients, they are also distancing themselves from the Traffickers so its a win win for all

If they have "upped their gear" since then does that mean a punter that is approached by a garda today is still only obliged to give their name and address? Or do the guards have more power now?

If you are questioned on the street you probably would have to give a reasonable explanation about why you were there. You would be very foolish to incriminate yourself. If the Garda wanted to pursue the matter , the only way he could is coercion of you or the Lady. They have their tactics and some of them are good at persuasion . If Ladies are sharing they are vulnerable in this scenario . If an Ecsort advertises as " 18 " , this raises a red flag ( in my humble opinion ). There was ( on paper ) a very attractive Escort advertised on here. I visited and paid but even though she was obviously older than 18 I decided not to proceed.
