Hey Jenny, you should list Irish on “languages spoken” on your profile, even just moderate or basic.

Tells me you’re likely born and bred here.

And you would never know some lads from the Gaeltacht would love it, or Irish teachers, or maybe some US tourists!

I know it was forced down our necks in school, but it’s still part of our heritage, and we should be proud of it.

It surprises me how often someone will call and ask if I'm genuinely Irish, I was born and raised on shpuds and turf and I almost get insulted thinking 'Do I not SOUND Irish?!'
