    If an egg floats in a saucepan it's a sign that its rotten inside. Hard boiled eggs 'spin' like a top. An uncooked egg can't spin.     Never keep your eggs in the fridge to cook them properly. Vinger prevent the egg from leaking into the water if shell is cracked too

    That's not quite true Jimmy. Ya see, it's depends on the temp of the water. The colder it is to start then the longer it takes to cook.

    It also depends on the type of egg. A hen's egg will boil in a few minutes whereas an Easter egg will melt in no time at all .
